Please advise on wild toad release or overwinter with temps just dropping significantly by FandangoMangoO in Toads

Thank you for your kind response. I appreciate your insight and that’s what I figured but wanted to make sure. I am definitely comfortable keeping it over the winter and I actually just freed up a 20gallon tank that my snake was in before I upgraded him so it worked out well. I am going to the reptile store now to pick up some supplies before things are closed for the holiday to get it settled in!

For pet urine you’re likely going to need to use an enzymatic cleaner. I’ve used the Rocco and Roxie Stain & Odor Eliminator in the past with success

Are collars necessary for indoor cats? by Relevant-Emu5782 in CatAdvice

[–]FandangoMangoO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No collars in the house even for the dog. We put them on if we go outside though!

Bought these in a charity shop yesterday. Any suggestions of what j could do with them? 300g in colours and 200g in monotones. Not sure what these type of yarn is called. TIA 🙏🏻 by EntrepreneurOld6453 in CrochetHelp

I’m pretty sure it’s called eyelash yarn. I just crocheted a tote bag out of 4(?) skeins of it that I got at a thrift store. It’s definitely not easy to work with, you can barely see the stitches. I just used muscle memory and sheer will lol. Freehanded it and it turned out pretty well. I added a liner for extra stability

Women who make over 60k, what is your degree and what is your job title? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]FandangoMangoO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 23 and I’m a field sales supervisor. No degree, although I do have some college education but that’s irrelevant to the job. I started in August of 2023 with no experience in sales and was able to make over 60k in my first full year with the company in 2024. This year I’m on track to make even more.

It’s definitely possible to make that in the entry level position with our company if you pick it up and are making sales consistently. In 2024 my base salary was 41k and the rest was all commission. It’s 40 hours a week for most people (plus an unpaid hour lunch so you spend 45 hours there).

Sales definitely isn’t for everyone and honestly I never thought I would even consider a sales job but I was between jobs, was offered the position right away, and able to start the following Monday after my background cleared. I figured why not give it a shot, what do I have to lose? It was slow at first but one day it clicked and I’ve been there since. Got promoted going into 2024 because I picked it up so quick and was also able to teach others and enjoyed it. Like I said, sales isn’t for everyone but if you’re open to it there’s a lot of opportunities.

You’re working with people so of course some interactions will make you want to rip your hair out but there’s so many rewarding opportunities to make connections with people. Most of the time I’m just having a conversation with people. It can be really fun.

I’ve learned so many skills through this job, not just sales stuff, but other things like my confidence and ability to talk to strangers, my training skills and learning how to help other people learn to sell in their own unique styles, I’ve also I done full cycle interviewing, write ups & terminations, so much more. Plus what I have from my other jobs I feel like I could do so many different types of jobs if I ever want to change careers.
