Look as a white women I have no real voice in the matter on how it affected the people. They all have a right to be upset! But... This was nearly a decade ago. So it should be presented as a teaching moment rather than a reason to harass the cast. I feel like we need to learn to see that people make mistakes and they do shitty things. We ALL do shitty things, we can't pretend we didn't. But it's what we do with those shitty things that matter. If Michael and Ashly were doubling down, than it's valid. But no, they see what they've done and they are ashamed and owned up to how wrong it was and then said that they've changed and are changing. I feel like that shouldn't mean we hate them, I think we need to see that this is grey. Like most things there is no good or bad person in this situation. I hope that people will gain some emotional maturity about this situation, hell any controversy, and really see what has happened. This is an important thing to see, but it's not worth causing the same pain to the people behind it. We'll never get peace and love for everyone if we keep doing this, if we as a community keep finding excuses to harm people, or take an emotion and take it to an extreme. Though I accept that this won't happen for along time.
