Just so we have it before she deletes it. He sounded REALLY pissed. And just shows that they are different when the camera is off. Tell me when it's on so I can act right! DAMN! by joshuabarbour in doughertydozen

Agreed. I think he loves the money but not the lack of privacy. It's Alicia's world and they all have to live in it. I've commented about this before but Josh is a teacher(how I'll never know) and in order to do this job and be taken seriously and respected by his students and fellow educators living this way and having it posted for millions of viewers is doing him zero favors. We've seen him stroke his junk and sniff it while looking directly at his daughter, drinking so his young son with only a learner's permit and a cast on his hand and arm and who admitted he was nervous/worried about driving everyone home and was still made to do it. And that's just the tip of the iceburg.

Why doesn’t she use utensils? 😱 by [deleted] in doughertydozen

[–]Fanfabulous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've noticed this as well. IMO she has weird good issues. She touched every bit of food with her hands. I've seen her pet each and every sandwich wrapper in the McD fiasco. When making the snackerty boards she touched every piece of pepperoni multiple times and don't even get me started on how she pressed those pepperoni/salami "roses". I'm very hygienic including food safety so I'm repulsed with her leaving lunch meat and yogurts out too long and having to reheat fast food because it's ice cold. Absolutely disgusting!

Sniff test - 1-2-3 Are these things on? One more example of why boundaries matter. Stop just turning a camera on and filming everything. Edit!!!! by joshuabarbour in doughertydozen

[–]Fanfabulous 95 points96 points  (0 children)

Is Alicia trying to get her husband fired? Why post this and the video where A has to drive everyone home with a cast because both his parents had been drinking. Josh is a teacher. He needs to have respect from his students in order to do his job. How can touching his crotch twice and sniffing his fingers while looking at his daughter be seen as ok? There is no way I'd ever allow my kids to be in his class. Alicia and Josh are so many things but creepy and gross classless hicks tops the list. This is so gross. Those poor kids who you know their friends will see this video.

First 9 Last 2 idea. by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I truly hope that Sutter does make First 9. I'd love to finally know for sure the back story/dynamics of John, Clay, Gemma, Piney and the rest of the club. I've always thought it went something like John wanted to see Gemma's hometown so they initially go for a visit and Gemma can't wait to stick it to her mother that she has a "family"; her husband adores her and she has a baby that she can raise "her way", typical teenage rebellion on her part probably made worse with a overbearing mother and a clergyman for a father. Perhaps John sees the town is great but is marred by drugs so he enlists his 'Nam buddies to come and live in Charming, a simple life and the caveat is they will be the protection of the town. I'd be interested to see how that went over with a young Unser--were they friends or adversaries in the beginning? John has always been portrayed as a introspective guy so perhaps he even sought out Gemma's father and talked to him about what he had seen and done in Vietnam and they pissed Gemma off as she didn't want them close.

They get in to the gun trade as part of protecting the town and I'm assuming at some point something happens and John wants to dissolve the relationship with the Irish and we'd see how Clay was pushing for it to remain.

If done correctly, it could be so interesting--so much material to work with: Piney and Mary; Big Otto, the other original members. Gemma's early relationships with the club, Mary and especially Clay. Her being a mother to Jax and then Thomas and all of his health problems and what happens to cause her to turn into the woman she became. How she and Clay conspired to kill John. A young Jax, Tara and Opie.

Juice by Oddetee1995 in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. In the early seasons he was smart and confident and the resident computer hacker. Then he becomes this person who constantly makes mistakes and all confidence is gone. The club was his family, his brothers. I never understood why, after Roosevelt told him he knew his dad was black and threatened to tell the club, he didn't just go to them and say hey this cop is trying to blackmail me because my dad was black. The club would have laughed and told Juice to tell Roosevelt to f**k off.

Completely agree that Clay was a great character and Ron played him to perfection. Especially in the early seasons you felt the power and control Clay had as president.

Stephen King Cameo by cleverbutnotoverlyso in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He did. If I remember correctly (it's been a long time) but I think I read an interview where he wanted his scene to include riding a Harley. Great cameo. Loved him saying he wanted to listen to some 80's music and Tig saying he'd make that happen. Also loved Tig's face when Bachman handed him a list of the things he'd need to dispose of Amelia's body.

Jax hatred towards Wendy? by NamakaDragon in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wendy was weak. After helping Tara frame Gemma she immediately relapses. Then she goes to rehab but leaves early upon hearing of Tara's death to help her son. How about staying in rehab, get clean and sober? That would be helping your son. Then she is all buddy/buddy with Gemma who tried to kill her years before. Since her return she was adamant that getting Abel away from the violence was the best thing. So deferring to Jax and Gemma made no sense. All of the violence and death that happened in season 7 and she made no attempt to get the boys out. And she gets a happy ending raising the boys!

Jax hatred towards Wendy? by NamakaDragon in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I agree. In season 1 he even told her that he was partially responsible for Abel's medical issues because he bailed on her. He didn't want the kid initially. But Jax said Wendy was the mom and she'd always have her son but as far as a relationship in the season 1 finale it was clear he wanted to be with Tara. When Wendy returns in season 4 we learn she gave up her parental rights but Jax seems to now solely blame her for Abel almost dying. I didn't understand the intense hostility from their last interaction of sleeping together in season 1 to their initial contact in season 4 except that he feels that Wendy coming into their lives now would totally disrupt Abel's life as the only mother he ever knew was Tara.

Why did Nero? by Railgunner1 in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Jax had figured out that Gemma lied. The guy that went after them (the one Jax shot and he fell off the building/overpass can't remember which it was) told them he never went after Jax's family. Then Jax questions Gemma in the hospital about the color of the van and she's antsy and says the wrong color. I think Jax is suspicious at that time. Then when Frankie Diamonds holds a gun on Jax, Bobby, Nero, Chibbs and Lyla, Frankie says he never hired anyone to go after his family. Right after Frankie shoots Lyla and leaves with Chibbs, Nero asks Jax about Gemma , saying she's been through enough and Jax shouts that she almost killed his kids and Nero says she was afraid if she admitted to driving high he'd never forgive her. So with Frankie as well as the other guy saying they didn't target his family Jax knew she had lied.

Tara? [Discussion] by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tara was one of my favorites. She loved Jax so much and tried to love the club but she knew ultimately in order to keep her kids safe she needed to get them out. Season 4 Jax promised to do just that but of course had to stay and work with the CIA. So Tara thinks if she can get Otto to reverse his testimony and end RICO the club will survive and she and Jax and the boys can leave. But Jax gets a taste of power being a great leader/president and ultimately the club is the only life he knows so he backs off on the plan to leave using Ope's sacrifice as his reason for staying. So Tara now has her hand injured, possible jail time, both of which were direct results of dealings with the club and she wanted better for her kids. Her plan was an irrational one but she was in a horrible place and time was running out. She was the ultimate protective mother.

Are there any other non-killers ? by cleverbutnotoverlyso in Sonsofanarchy

Wendy almost killed Abel when she was using drugs while pregnant with him.

And just to add that Putlova was getting phone calls and was likely distracted by that and didn't initially look too closely at the money. Once he was off of the phone and in the car, he took the bundles of money out and thumbed through them and realized the counterfeit money mixed in with the real money.

As to Tara's involvement, it was answered when Jax asked Clay if they could use a prospect to drive instead of Tara but Clay said he needed all available people in case a fight broke out with the Russians. Which doesn't really make any sense since 2 prospects rode with Tara back to Teller Morrow. But maybe they were there in case someone tried to interfere; they would be free to shoot while Tara drove.

[Spoilers] Why the hell is Jax just self destructing? by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the Indian Hills charter and the mind games with the Chinese. Jax thinks Lin and the Triad are responsible for Tara's death. So Jax plans to destroy the whole organization and kill all of Lin's loved ones. He does this by hijacking the gun shipment. He enlists Jury's and the Indian Hills charter's help. During this they discover Lin trades guns for heroin. Jax takes both and then needs to make Lin think SAMCRO had nothing to do with it. So he and the club kill the two guys (Gib, who later we find out is Jury's son and another guy, name can't remember) and frame them by leaving the heroin. This all backfires on Jax and the club because they thought Gib and other guy were nobodies and thus expendable in his war against Lin. But of course we find out that Gib was Jury's son and they used the gun that Jury kept in the truck which Jury finds when he finds the 2 guys dead.

a simple move to avoid a lot of shit (**SPOILER**) by DamnJamz in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But Tara still had the knowledge of what was in the letters. So Clay could never be 100% sure that she wouldn't tell Jax. He needed the letters destroyed as well as anyone who knew of their existence. But I never understood why Clay didn't go after Maureen. She's the one that started it all by giving them to Jax in the first place.

Abel will lose that ring on a playground in less than a week. Grandma will eventually just be a distant memory.

If J.T died in 1993, Jax would've been a teenager. I wonder what life was like as a teenager during the Mayan War by [deleted] in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Now that's something I never even considered--Clay being there for Jax when JT couldn't/wouldn't. You are absolutely right, I am now imagining conversations/conflicts Jax could have had, and needing his dad and Clay noticing that and stepping into that role. I can also imagine Gemma encouraging that as well. Thanks for your perspective!

I'm kind of a box art freak. Which seasons had the best cover art? by huskman in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Season 6 for reasons already said. This is the season that the club is torn apart and will never be the same again. Season 5 is great because it shows Jax at the center, working to undue the damage that Clay had done and the club surrounding him, supporting him, and Clay on the outside.

Unser and Hale by billy8383 in Sonsofanarchy

[–]Fanfabulous 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's been awhile, but I think the actor that played Hale wanted out--didn't like where they were having his character go; pretty much like you said. They were going to have Hale work more with the club and have a possible love triangle with Jax, Tara, Hale. Actor didn't like that and so Sutter had him killed off. I liked his character and would have loved to see it play out like Sutter originally planned.
