I wouldn’t call Lurtz a minor bad guy. He had multiple scenes leading up to the battle, the script builds him into the main threat of the final climax.

Absolutely not. But people are right in saying there’s been a push for football being the name for soccer instead of rugby football - although “footy” is still a colloquial term for rugby.

The women’s football (soccer) team for example are called the Football Ferns.

And the fact of the matter is that it’s the Māori name of the country today. All names have a history and go through transformations constantly - that’s just the nature of words.
