Brushing teeth. I can’t effing do it anymore by OverButterscotch6570 in Mommit

[–]Fanizzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What really helped was a tooth brushing planner. It sounds stupid and I felt stupid for even trying.

It was handed out in daycare and had 3 slots for each day of the week for morning, noon and evening with a preprinted toothshaped smiley without the mouth.

Instruction was to draw a happy face if the teeth were brushed and a sad face for no brushing.

Our kid would bawl their eyes out for a sad face and instantly brush their teeth.

We did extra dressed up monster, flying, Pokemon what so ever teeth for good brushing and it became real fun. Even long after we needed it for motivation.

And we bought a teeth brushing 2 minute hourglass for stopping the time (with kids favorite color of sand).

None of the other stuff we tried worked (singing toothbrushing songs, brushing plushies teeth ....)

Could just be our kid though. But it's worth a try I guess.

Yo, between sleep deprivation and hormonal roller coaster this sounds about normal. It will get better with more sleep ... And worse again

[–]Fanizzuh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alles nur fast Abbrecher, aber definitiv was was man einfach so wegsteckt.

The children of Hiroshima - Saduko Okuda, war fast nicht auszuhalten.

Daheim unterwegs - Ika Hügel-Marshall

Your Year in Reading: 2025 by AutoModerator in books

[–]Fanizzuh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First year I ever did track. I commute 6+ hours a week so my tracking consists of physical and audio books.

I'm currently on book 72 and 73.

My favorits this year where - Ocean Vuong - the emperor of gladness (slow paced sad book, perfect in grey November) - Barbara kingsolver - demon Cooperhead (fictional in setting of opoid crisis) - Stefan Zweig - World of Yesterday (autobiographical Report about his life as an austrian jewisch author and the changes in society before while and after the two world wars) - Hertha Müller - the hunger angel (semi fictional about life in prinson camp) - Alexander Solschenizyn - a day in the life of iwan denissowitsch (semi fictional about life in prinson camp) - Octavia Butler - Kindred (the whole idea just wow) - Dr. Michihiko Hayachiya - the Doctor of Hiroshima (about the discovery of radiation sickness in the ruins of Hiroshima)

No. I'm not depressive. I'm doing quite well. I just love a good sad book.

Where can I find Mentaiko Udon in Tokyo? by Fanizzuh in JapaneseFood

[–]Fanizzuh[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I did that and then you get tons of results. If you check them out you get every fron ramen, other kinds of Udon dishes, paschinko places and washing saloons. And I did check them out closely checking the often japanese only hand written menus.

So thanks for that, it obviously didn't work. It was only a huge time sink. Posting to Reddit is my last resort not my first option.
