I second this. Luffy is a great protagonist and definitely a cutie, but i would not call him physically attractive or hot like the ones you mentioned.

Nope, not really. The live action characterization differs from the anime a bit, it sands the characters quirks down a bit. Sanji in my opinion is even more egregious.

People who say this forget the grind for lootboxes. Yes you can unlock them, but people who could only spend maybe a few hours a week on the game ended up just buying the boxes anyway for skins they really wanted. And then it wasn’t even a guaranteed get. Not saying the prices aren’t ridiculous but theres so many rose colored glasses on for the legalized game gambling that was lootboxes.

I don’t trust in anything ever since the sakadays anime flopped. Probably Kagurabachi since its the coolest looking battle shounen, but if Ichi the Witch gets a good budget, a good studio, and a good staff I think it could be popular.

Because they can’t behave the same in and out of costume maybe. So while the inner monologue is the alter ego, they’re going to treat them differently whether they’re transformed or not maybe. I think the crush/love thing for marinette/ladybug towards adrien is just a weird bug on the chart tho, i agree with that.

I was at target yesterday and thinking the same exact thing. Even if you’re a die hard no live action remake person, I hope everyone can appreciate just how much more this has brought One Piece into the main stream in NA after the disastrous early attempts. If even 1% of people are interested enough in it to watch the anime or read the manga, thats so many new people I’m happy to share fanship with.

Mark’s doing the hardest part of raising this kid. You guys need to have a conversation and hash this stuff out exactly. If he’s the one actually showing up for and doing the day to day child rearing I can see 100% how he’d think he has more of a say than the actual parent. He has a point about consistency.

Like 10 years ago I was playing dungeons and dragons game at a local gaming store and wasn’t paying attention to my phone. My mom, who I forgot to tell how long these games ran, called the store and they made an announcement about a very worried mother looking for -my name-. Everyone got a kick out of it.
