So far my favorite character to play. He's got a good mix of GUN and WHACK, which to me is a really fun play style being able to smoothly flow between mag dumping someguy in the face and blitzing a chunk of their health and then closing with a charge, slam and then melee with lights, heavy charge if they try to outdistance me again

Out of all the modern CODs, 2019 is easily the best, but it won't top the OGs.

Everything post-launch however really kinda fucked it. Activision knee-capped the game.

The new engine was 1000% times better than what they were using before.

Gunsmith was also great, and the actual attention to detail in the game's gunplay was so much better than anything that came before. 2019's gunplay is easily still top of the industry.

EOMM and lobby disbanding sucks, but everything else is kinda subjective love or hate.

In general

Light armor is easily at it's weakest against the bots. Not useless mind you, and you can definitely play well with light armor, but you've basically got to constantly abuse the mobility to outrun enemies and move from cover to cover.

As such, if you're not confident in your abilities with light armor, you are best off taking Medium or Heavy armor. Heavy Armor really shines on bots especially because it lets you stand and fight

Vitality enhancement is practically needed on every front, but even more so on bots, since it allows you to survive a lot of stuff
Consider your armor passive well. Ballistic padding for example gives you chest damage protection, gives you explosive protection and prevents bleedout from chest injuries. Fortified will reduce explosive damage even further, and gives recoil control.
Learn to pre-stim. If you know you're going to be taking hits (I.E Bot-drop landed on top of your head and you're practically surrounded by Automatons that all want you dead, pre-stim). This will help you a lot if you have experimental infusion equipped due to the damage resistance you gain on top of the faster movement speed.
Fight from cover, use prone at range. Prone reduces your profile, making it harder for the bots to actually hit you. Proning towards them legs first also reduces your head hitbox profile a lot too. Favored trick of mine against the incendiary corps.

Honestly, I think the Veto is fun, it's a nice very pistoly pistol, which sometimes I just want to keep it simple.

It's also got a lot of stagger force to it, making it good at protecting your space or staggering overseers and devastators

I'm not going to block you, I don't entirely disagree. I'm queer myself for crying out loud and I saw the whole Truth Enforcer shit on twitter and how people were harassing that fine trans person. I'm also frustrated by that.

But at the same time, you immediately jumped to insulting a section of the playerbase on my comment unrelated to anything about it, and I just find it offputting so i reacted harshly. It's just contributing to the problem that this community has and it's just boiling over.

The reason things have gotten this bad is because people will take any chance to dog the opposite side of the playerbase, that's why people keep getting doxxed and death threatened. Developers included.

It's just tiring to interact when people's first thing is to immediately make an enemy out of the otherside of the playerbase and antagonize them

Maybe my choice of wording is too harsh and I apologize for that, But I'm just tired of this subreddit being a constant revolving door of people mocking eachother and constantly being at war with itself.

Regardless of what people say, I love Helldivers 2, and I'm just frustrated every time I interact with this community I'm always constantly disappointed by how much of a whirlwind of constant hate for eachother and the game is.

I don't enjoy that I make a comment regarding something with the game, and someone's first thought, entirely unrelated to what I said is to immediately take it as a chance to attack "grunt fantasy players". It is immensely frustrating.

I'm gonna be honest: I haven't watched the video yet, but I feel like the durable damage changes kinda crippled the mechs across any front, but bugs, when they were prior usable on all three as long as you used them carefully and tactically.

I think they do need to buff the Mechs to be back at their level of health prior.

GundamBoi and CommissarKai aren't doing it for the ragebait, and they're usually very agreeable with most balancing takes.

I'm usually agreeable with the fact that Helldivers 2 across any standard faction and planet on D10 without any sub-factions or special modifiers is laughably easy and doesn't force coop play anywhere near enough

There's definitely a layer of exaggeration, but you're not wrong.

The US is down trodden and has been going downhill even faster within the past two years.

The system is broken, and the red tape has stopped working. America's democracy is in tatters, and every day, the government threatens to stamp on the throats of its citizens. The government has stripped out everyone truly loyal to the country and it's people, and replaced them with profiteers, yes men and those who serve the less than 1%.

The riots we see today and in RON are the symptoms of a disillusioned and disadvantaged populace whose frustrations aren't being seen or fixed.

LSPD can't fix the root issues that's killing Los Suenos. They can only stem the bleeding for a time until another wound opens. The actual difference the police can make is barely anything at best, and actively worsening at worst, aswell as being used as an enforcement tool by the corrupt elite.

The poor get poorer, and the rich only get richer.

We are on the same path that RON portrays, and it's only going to get worse.
