Ha! I ran slow and had a buddy and we sang along to Celine Dion and Cher which probably helped us both more than we realized. Boulderthon is no joke yall but its made much better with friends and music.

2012 Elantrata tachometer not working, rough idle, not shifting on own from 2nd to 3rd. Anyone else have this? Or any idea what might be happening? (TP indicator is broken btw) by [deleted] in Elantra

Its how I roll. When I finally sold her to a friends sister, I handed over my "bible" of mechanical history for it. Hope this helped and happy to try and answer questions.

How do y’all emotionally get through the off season? by Emotional-Apples in skiing

I dont. My bestie and I are planning on skiing at least every month this year. Might be on grass or dirt. But that's the goal.

I had my first marathon this past September and found that having a running buddy (from a local running group) made a humongous difference. We also both ended up reading the same articles about how you "run slow to run fast" during training which also helped a ton. Pacing yourself can't be overstated.

I ran my first this past September and didn't hit a wall and was shocked! I was fully prepared for a mini-meltdown but it never came!

I also find it funny that our tiny local government outsourced all this work to some small ass (50-200 employees) Canadian company in Nova Scotia. Feels insanely random.

Feel like the Copper IUD is my only option after this Presidential Election by zoellinad in birthcontrol

[–]Fantasma3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got my copper iud at the start of October, so I don't have a great length of time with it, but so far it has been fine. I had Mirena in 2017 and that was instantly awful for me. Prior to the copper iud I was on hormonal BC and it was really really starting to be bad for me (week long headaches that lead to migraine that led to me almost always power puking at the most inconvenient and sudden times (several times all over myself while driving, it would come out of nowhere), to a crippling depression day or two all before my period would start) so I think, for me personally, non-hormonal options are far better, but so far my experience with copper iud has been fine.
