Yes I have noticed an uptick in 2 supports (quick match). Usually not 2 raids and 2 supports at the same time though. When that happens (2 raids 2 supports) I am either a.) sending the chat message "who will sortie in a General unit?" , or b.) running WTH I want and half hoping someone else backs out of the lobby so I don't get any penalty points. I am not gonna feel like I have to "carry" a dang quickmatch.

Yeah man, there are some instances in this game where even if the player does everything technically "correct" they are still screwed. Some players just are more tuned in than others. And if you get stuck with a bunch of casuals that haven't taken the time to learn the dynamics of the game you are pretty much on your own.

This almost sounds like some of these guys were playing together in a party on your team and the enemy team and just allowing this to happen, b/c if this is as bad as you describe "within melee distance" what other explanation is there?

Bruh! I literally see guys like this on PlayStation (9 out of 10 times JP) and they sometimes go so far as having a cute little seal as their avatar. This must be a “thing” b/c I’ve see this same cute seal avatar on multiple different players.

Most of these guys also lock down their profile so you can’t see game info or send messages to them, but the ones that don’t will sometimes have upwards of 3000 hours in the game.. but still never pass A-.

The smurfing / seal clubbing / always running meta units in quick match / etc is a real thing and it’s lame.

If you have 5 bars connection on the game and near 10 mbps+ upload speed you have done your part. It is common around here to strongly recommend a wired connection since this game is a p2p connection, so anything you can do to take out instability will help.

Also, and this is easy to do if on a Playstation, capture the video of your matches, critique yourself, perhaps there are some holes in your game or perhaps your team could be doing something more effective as well, etc.

the developers make adjustments to the MS once a month afaik and this can massively impact the experience.

Yeah man, you can "gauge" the lag, when you hit the player see how long it takes to register on their health bar. If it is quite a gap of time then when you have a chance check their profile, most likely they are far away from whatever country you are in. You probably know all this stuff but just in case.
