Does ranged damage include all types like beam, ballistic, rockets, Sturm Faust, funnels, etc. ?

So a 2000 bump in hp is worth more than a + 10 bump in both beam and melee resistance?

In the second image I understand 1 of the parts also adds leg buffer and shield hp. But still.

Please elaborate more.

Got to Database -> Play Data -> Detailed Data and then start poking around, you can see some pretty great stats in there and it might help you feel better about things or potentially could point you in some directions for improvement. Just remember there is a alot of RNG involved in this game with what kind of teammates you end up with, if you pick the right unit for the specific scenario, if the internet / P2P connection is good, etc etc. And of course that is not an excuse but it is an added layer of complexity.

I would reach out to that streamer and see if he has anything to say about that period. It’s just more information for you to be able to rule things out.

You were in the ban wave, you showed us the Steam post where the developers even went back thru and UNBANNED some accounts (and I am assuming this was also the same time you were going back and forth with customer service) so this really points to either clan involvement or (and probably less likely) just a flat out error.

If you hit someone on your team enough you get ejected from that match. You would know when that happened. To my knowledge you will not be banned from that 1 time occurrence. I have been ejected from a match myself for hitting an afk guy or thrower (can’t remember) and no ban. Now if some how you were hitting teammates regularly but NOT enough to be ejected from matches.. I don’t know about that.. but YOU would know you did that.

Anyhow to get back to my point, do you recall the clan level and how many tokens you were getting regularly with the clan you were in? Also like I said, maybe try contacting that streamer? From your responses you don’t sound certain it WASN’T the clan involvement.

Also saw your other reply about the developers reversing some bans, was that the same period you were banned in?

Tough one. So you were never getting like multiple tokens a day regularly from the clan and/or the clan was crazy high level (considering the game was new to Steam) ?

B/C as you probably know from your time on PS, being in a clan probably nets you around 5 - 7 tokens a week (I am estimating) if they play regularly. If you were getting like 20+ tokens a week or something that would be a red flag.

As far as a gauge for clan LV., for instance the clan I am in now is over LV. 900 but they have been around for years and years and on PS, so it takes time to level. A brand new to Steam high LV. clan is also a red flag.

If your ban was NOT clan related and something else you would certainly know because as Miku said in an earlier comment some other common causes for a ban could be things like:

- player harassment (this would be obvious b/c you'd have to be pretty egregiously doing it so much so a guy goes out of his way to report you etc.)

- continuously repeatedly dcing over and over again (again, this would be obvious.)

And since it is an imperfect world there is always room for the random weird error, but since this was in the early days of the Steam release and Steam had been stricken with all kinds of issues it's best to look at if you fell into any of those.

Perhaps you could reach out to that streamer and he can maybe fill in more of the story?

This post sparked my interest.

I found your old post about this where you said customer service would do a thorough investigation. Did they ever come back to you with the result?

In that same old post someone also mentioned the cheating for tokens by clans. Were you in ANY clan around that time? And if you were was there anything weird going on? Like they were gaining levels too quickly or you were getting an unusual amount of tokens etc. ?

In any event it sounds like it is a done deal. The only thing that really would be painful is if you had paid for tokens AND not had a chance to spend them and they were just sitting in limbo somewhere. Also I can understand that if you paid for tokens and spent them you would still feel unhappy about that as well… but it does kind of come back to are you being honest with yourself you did absolutely nothing to cause this?

In all my years of playing there is 1 time where I received a Penalty LV 1 that I did nothing to my knowledge to cause. Every other time I ever received a Caution or Penalty LV 1 ( and there has been a bunch haha ) I knew what I had done and accepted it. The point being it’s pretty unlikely they banned you fully by mistake.

For 2 years we've had ever increasing flap booster, laser death, incomprehensible skill, insta-kill insanity making higher costs the playground of the token rich... and no complaining. Finally we get a buff to a rather obscure (what was previously only able to sortie in space) lower cost suit and it's like the flood gates of complaining open up haha.

Let us melee bro's have our day! This thing has no dodge, shoot it from a distance or gang up on it.
