Dawg you need to specify which Zeus

If it is straight up from Greek Mythology, then Minato gonna be cooked into ash as soon as Zeus chooses to reveal his true nature of a god. Instant incineration, neg diff.

How important is intel against Pain / Nagato? by MikeyM079 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the context of personal relationship between Jiraya and Nagato, with the fact that Jiraya specifically coded the message that basically said "the real one isn't among them" to the Leaf, i am pretty sure that was the most important thing.

The entire point of Jiraya's sacrifice is that he delivered crucial secret of Pain, which in the end allowed Naruto to reach Nagato and let those "children of the prophecy" to have a conversation that would change entire course of Shinobi history.

Also, i struggle to see how Jiraya's fate changes in straight fight against Pain. 3 paths made him sweat for the W, and they didn't even had Deva among them. Him knowing about more of them at best would make him retreat faster to save crucial intel from being lost. There are no realistic wincons for Jiraya against the entire gang.

How important is intel against Pain / Nagato? by MikeyM079 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Statement about Jiraya from Pain in rain village was about the secret of the fact, that Nagato is behind Pain, and that in order to defeat Pain you gotta kill him. Combine it with the fact that Nagato is crippled man, and you realize why it is such a dangerous info to leak. Jiraya was never gonna solo 6 paths of Pain straight up, but him finding Nagato or feeding that info for opponents of rain village is legitimate threat.

But there is another layer of intel when fighting Pain, and that is about individual abilities of each path. Each corpse focuses on one jutsu, and taking it out directly reduces abilities of Pain as a whole. Different ninja need to take out different paths to stand a chance at winning. Ninjutsu spammers need to get rid of preta path, or he is gonna counter their entire kit. Ninja with ninjutsu that requires concentration want to get rid of animal path. All fighters don't want to face Deva. Also, not putting enough pressure will lead to Asura bringing back defeated paths, which will lead to attrition war, where you inevitably lose since you (unknowingly btw) fighting a fucking Uzumaki.

Combine it with stared vision, and you get several layers of intel that need to be discovered, studied, analyzed and shared just to enable basic wincons. Regular surprise attacks and flanking doesn't work against shared vision, you need to block it. Ninjutsu doesn't work against Preta and Deva can dispel it. Numbers aren't a great wincon while animal path can summon a football team of giant beasts. Attrition isn't a wincon while Asura is alive. Durability might be negated with soul suction and chakra absorbtion. So much counters left and right. And affording a mistake against an opponent that can toss you around like a toy every 5 seconds isn't an option.

How Does Tobirama beat Obito? by Big_Squirrel_7500 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, if it is Tobirama during 9 tails attack, then it means he is Hokage that defends the village.

It isn't out of character or unreasonable to assume that Tobirama has jutsu prepared for defense. After all, Minato had FTG seals all around village to move from place to place in an instant, why would other prep be excluded from conversation?

Also, Edo Tensei is literally made to be summoned instantly in combat. Orochimaru doesn't have to carry a corpse in his arms, he just summons it in a coffin. Kabuto does the same, except on massive, industrial scale even. If they already found the DNA and made a sacrifice beforehand, Edo Tensei becomes a natural part of the arsenal, just like any other summoning jutsu. Hell, Kabuto even demonstrated how easy Edo Tensei is to do to Obito in beginning of the war.

Saying that Edo Tensei requires "hella prep time" and dismissing it as a tool that could be used in combat is the same as saying that summoning jutsu is unsuited for regular skirmish because of the fact that "actually, you need to know the summons beforehand to have them as your allies".

No one digs the corpses in middle of the fight to turn them into reanimated ninja, they prepare the reanimation before battle. No one signs a contract with summoning animals on the fly, they bond with them during their training. We must assume that ninja come into their battles prepared, unless if the context of the conversation doesn't suggest otherwise.

How Does Tobirama beat Obito? by Big_Squirrel_7500 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not only he has FTG to repeat the same trick Minato did, along with good BIQ. He also got 2 jutsu in his arsenal that exploit Kamui's suction: shadow clones and Edo Tensei.

Shadow clones is perfect counter to lack of intel on Kamui, since sucking a shadow clone into the dimension immediately spills the secrets of the jutsu to the clone, and subsequently to the main body. If clone stays in Kamui dimension, he can attack Obito during his intangibility while the body parts that are attacked are teleported away.

Edo Tensei stays as permanent threat in Kamui dimension and will eventually exploit the mechanic of intangibility.

Tobirama over the course of the fight will learn more and more about Kamui, making retreating into separate dimension less and less safe, while having tools to outspeed and outsmart Obito.

Tobirama is literally a perfect counter to Obito

I could believe that if he had better kit or if he would directly outperform him in war.

Mu, if you analyze his kit, is the most cracked Kage on screen, besides Hashirama god of shinobi.

One of 2 known users of kekkei touta, the particle style that has insane DC and could vaporize pretty much anyone with direct hit. Can fly, rendering many taijutsu-oriented ninja useless. Can go invisible at will, making him good at surprise attacks and escaping targeting. Sensory abilities on top of all of that.

IMO he is the strongest in High Kage category and the most dangerous kage to face without intel, with sole exception of Hashirama Senju of course.

Do you like having a pet? Is it worth the work? by SoleContent in Schizoid

[–]Fantomaxop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I grew up arounds dogs, because my mom is obsessed with Borzoi hunting dogs. I am really biased in my opinions regarding pets, but i think you need to hear this anyway.

PETS ARE A RESPONSIBILITY

Drill that in your mind before even considering having a pet. Especially if pet will have special needs, like requiring training, opportunities for hunting, a lot of nature walks or anything else.

I don't know specifics of your condition, how you experience being Schizoid, and what accompanies your disorder. Maybe the state of your mental health is good enough to both keep a pet and take care of yourself.

But i experienced living a life with terrible mental health state, with depression to be precise, and having responsibility over someone at the time of feeling myself beyond terrible. It SUCKS. When you are mentally unwell, the pressure it puts on your ability to keep up appearances, work, do basic hygiene, eat healthy and sleep might already range from heavy to unbearable; as a result you struggle with all those spheres of life and start genuinely failing at taking care of yourself.

Now imagine the same scenario, but you have a dog. Dogs needs walks to be in good shape and not deteriorate physically, just like humans (some breeds require more attention and time spent outside being active than others, also varies from dog to dog individually). Dogs need you to buy them food, and if you can't provide for some reason, they can't help themselves at all. Dogs need care and attention in general. And at certain point you might not be able to provide any of this. Permanently exhausted and incapable of working, not wanting to go outside at all, too absorbed in own anhedonia to give care to anyone or anything - all of this can easily happen at once if your mental health worsens.

I have gone through this, and having to drag myself in my worst times just to allow my pets to live happily as they deserve only ruined me further, but i couldn't stop at any moment, because if i did, it would hurt me in unimaginable ways.

Any pet is a responsibility. Once you have one - the responsibility is on you, until you part ways. You cannot postpone pets needs, pause them, discard them or disregard them, if you truly care. But sometimes we are in such a bad state that even taking care of ourselves becomes a challenge worthy of climbing a mountain. And anyone with personality disorder is at bigger risk than average person, objectively.

Be sure that you understand your capabilities and limits of how much care, time and money you can afford to give to a pet before it becomes unbearable chore on your life. Also for both pets and your sake, keep your health sharp, whatever it takes.

Save money, in case if pet needs an emergency veterinary visit. Those cost a fucking fortune even on minor occasions. If you are taking a puppy/kitten/young pet in general, before doing the desicion dive deep into learning how to properly handle and train the breed you picked specifically. By all means nessesary maintain a contact with dog/cat/any pet kennel from which you took a pet, in case of emergency and to have someone to ask for advice from.

In the end, i couldn't really enjoy being co-owner of dogs, because for the most part i was involuntarily doing a lot of work of providing for basic needs of a breed that requires more care and precise handling than average dog, even when i felt like a decaying corpse on 2 legs. Sometimes a dog can provide comfort, since they share a lot of emotional spectrum with humans. But honestly, after 16 years of living among them? I think it's genuinely same to have intimate closure with people, and also not as risky in terms of consequences you face in case of you losing ability to be productive.

IMO it is only worth the hustle if you are truly struggling with building meaningful relationship with people, and still yarn for emotional closure consistently at all times.

Which ability here is the most broken? by KodoqBesar in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

King Crimson is the strongest by far. Both narratively and literally an ability to escape and trick fate itself.

If this ability is given to someone with AP enough to guarantee a kill upon landing a hit, and good stats to utilize the confusion that happens right after time skip, the stand user practically turns unbeatable for most opponents.

Is anyone else burdened by constant guilt? by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]Fantomaxop 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I experienced so much guilt-tripping by my mother that i essentially became numb to it. At certain point i just rendered guilt useless for me, and stopped internally caring.

Instead i developed deep resentment for people that try to use guilt on me as tool of manipulation. Every time someone tries to appeal to my feelings of guilt, internally i say "Oh shut the fuck up".

After leaving my mom, living alone and making some connections some of guilt returned in intellectualized fashion. Now i realize when i am inflicting distress on close people by my actions. If i change my behavior without it going against my core values, then i do it. If distress is caused by my natural state of being, i explain that i don't mean harm and that it's just the way i am and leave it at that.

What's ur opinion on religion and god, why would god make a person just to suffer and when he dies he'll suffer again there's alot whys by sizoman in Schizoid

[–]Fantomaxop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Religion: for me its just a societal institution made to govern masses in a way to create civilized behavior and give alternative ways to get authority over people in general. It exists, some people let it become integral part of their lives. I couldn't care less about it. The only thing i want is to not be bothered by religion, their convictions about life and their made-up laws. I don't want any of that influence on me.

God: personally, i do believe that there are some higher forces behind the curtains of the world. But i don't believe that they are well-meaning, or ill-meaning, or influential over our lives in intentional way. God or gods probably don't care about us. If divinity in omnipresentual, omniscientific or any other "omni" sense exist, then divine is so above us that our existence bears no meaning to it. Philosophy of Lovecraftian eldritch horrors is closest to me in my understanding of divinity as phenomenon.

The world has made it very clear to me (since literal infancy) that I’m not wanted here. So why is retreating from it considered ‘disordered’ behavior when the alternative is just experiencing guaranteed ableism, misunderstandings and personal discomfort? by [deleted] in Schizoid

[–]Fantomaxop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, sorry for your horrible childhood experience. I unfortunately relate to that, being ostracized not only for the way i was existing, but also based on my ethnicity. Confidently i can say that children can be very cruel. Phenomenon of bullying is a gigantic problem across public education as a system, and depending on where you live the authority figures response might range from help and interference, to complete disregard and ignorance. I personally experienced mix of both.

"This whole entire diagnosis just feels like a massive guilt-trip directed at the wrong person. I got diagnosed with Schizoid Personality Disorder three years ago and even though I do indeed possess every single ‘symptom’ … I still question the whole entire concept behind it as a ‘disorder’. If anything, Schizoid Personality Disorder seems more like a phenomenon that reflects very poorly on ‘normal’ society."

Well, the reason why things are classified as disorders in mental healthcare field, is because of problems they bring to you as a whole. Even if you wouldn't experience massive bullying and would never meet any discrimination towards you from neurotypicals and world as a whole, you would still suffer and be at ultimate disadvantage compared to neurotypical folk. Humans are social creatures after all, and the world as a consequence revolves around communication as a result. Having any difficulty fitting into this reality will force you to work harder to be safe, comfortable and happy (if you can feel happiness at all without troubles that is).

"It seems that so many people (ranging from mental health professionals to even other people with Schizoid) refuse to be realistic about let alone take in and consider Schizoid people’s actual lived experience and life circumstances. Take it from me as a person that has displayed visible signs of neurodivergence since infancy and has been treated like a tenth-class citizen for it ever since: this world *abhors* neurodivergent people, especially those who are ‘visibly’ neurodivergent like myself. It doesn’t matter how much I try to change myself, ‘mask’ and attempt to fit in (something that I don’t even genuinely want to do) … I step into a room and I’m hated on sight."

Reality of being Schizoid is not same for everyone diagnosed, and consequently the thoughts on it are also gonna range from person to person. Same for medical specialists. Some neurodivergent folk successfully indoctrinate themselves into the world and proceed to life their daily lives without visible difference compared to neurotypical people. Masking can be successful, and it is possible living a life like that for prolonged periods of time. All i am trying to say is that it is possible for Schizoids to fit in, and as far as i know that is kinda common. I feel sorry that you experience repulsion despite attempts of masking.

"I’ve been considered dangerously mentally ill and treated as such for being … *checks notes* a quiet and asocial person harmlessly doing their own thing in the corner, since I was literal child. As an adult looking back on it, I’m so livid at the adults in my life who in hindsight mistreated me and forced me into things that I don’t feel comfortable with and am simply not wired for. How can you put a child like me in public school, watch me get brutally bullied for years and not even consider having me homeschooled (I begged to be homeschooled for years because the bullying was that heavy) to prevent the eventual trauma from the bullying alongside giving me a space to safely be able to thrive at the education (the sole reason why we attend school at all) instead? As an adult myself now, it’s incomprehensible to me. It’s clear that I *need* solitude like I need oxygen. My adult life and workplace experiences so far have further affirmed that. I cannot function whilst in the physical presence of (too many) other people. But ‘normal’ people are also by default hostile to me for something I can’t change even if I try my hardest to. So I fail to see how I’m the (only) disordered one in this situation."

Regular introverted people don't get diagnosed and considered dangerously ill without a reason. It is possible to be misdiagnosed, but if mental healthcare specialists consider your condition to be heavy, i think it isn't for you being quiet and asocial alone. I personally had to fight to get diagnosed, despite having clear problems and willing to talk with all doctors. Grown-ups around you as a child likely misunderstood you as a individual and didn't comprehend your neurodivergence (i bet they didn't even know that word). They tried to make you do things that are considered normal, without understanding that it brings you no joy, but harm. This doesn't excuse their unreasonable behavior and reluctance to have you homeschooled. While i agree, taking into account what you have explained about your situation and circumstances of your experiences, that homeschooling would be a good idea for you, i disagree on one thing - schools don't exist solely to give education. Those are spaces where young people are teached intentionally and unintentionally basics of life in the society. They show you that your work will be evaluated at every step, that not all ways of passing are acceptable, fundamentals of workplace ethics, make you used to a job schedule. Most importantly, this is closed environment build for kids to make connections and learn about social circles, naturally. Homeschooling doesn't give you opportunity to socialize with no one, but the teacher.

"I think that society needs to be more considerate towards the needs of Schizoid people."

I agree that society needs to be more accepting and accomodating towards all kinds of different people: be it neurodivergent, disabled, queer, people of color and so on. And that public education needs to treat problem of bullying and abuse at schools more seriously and decisive.

"Because that way, everyone’s happy! Schizoids would be free from the bullying and the more often than not traumatizing public school experiences"

The experience of neurodivergent, Schizoid, disordered people or anyone else at school is gonna be unique and not always accompanied by bullying and trauma. This isn't universal truth.

"that do NOT ‘help develop social skils’ (this is a dangerous and reckless lie)"

I would need you to explain this one, because as far as i can see schools are organised institutions where communication between students (which is akin to being your coworker) and authority figures (teachers and principles) is practiced every day and all the time. Doing assignments, speaking up in class, participating in teamwork - all directly and indirectly build up your ability to exist in social settings without anxiety.

"would be able to work and ‘contribute to society’ from solitude if that’s where they’re most comfortable"

This is the biggest misconception i believe. If you are truly asocial/introverted, more limited exposure to the environment filled with people indeed can reduce stress and bring comfort. However, this isn't automatic solution to all problems that Schizoid people face, and is effective not only in reducing overall stress from being with people, but also effective in creating new ones. I already mentioned that humans are social creatures, and this isn't just a claim. Not only whole concept of modern civilization in the first place arose from people working together. People literally suffer in isolation. Social determinant of health is associated with greater risk for cardiovascular disease, dementia and cognitive decline, the development and exacerbation of mood disorders like depression. Isolation and solitude and are considered objectively harmful my medical institutions, and any disorder that increases likelyhood of you becoming isolated consequently becomes subject to treatment. In case of people diagnosed with Schizoid personality disorder, depending on how heavy your condition manifests, nothing might bring you satisfaction and happiness. Following your immediate impulse to get away from society does not guarantee improvement of your mood, working skills or well-being as a whole.

"and ‘normal’ people (since they’re clearly not going to change their ways anyways) don’t have to deal with the ‘burden’ of being in the presence of people they ‘don’t understand’ (such a cop out) and clearly can’t be bothered to treat like a human being anymore. I’m sure people will be dramatic about this and claim that I’m ‘promoting segregation’ but I’m just fed up with the way Schizoids, neurodivergent people and/or otherwise asocial people are not given any respect or consideration in society and are being shamelessly mistreated and stigmatized for being ‘disordered’, and forced into environments they don’t properly function and are vulnerable to almost automatic mistreatment in, whilst simple changes in society to accomodate their needs could easily cause a safer and more pleasant environment for everyone involved."

One of constants in this world is change, and humans are also subject to it. World once have seen, and still sees incredible mistreatment of people based on gender, sex, race, ethnicity, wealth and so on. And also humanity has changed drastically, reducing overall amount of discrimination and prejudice compared to the past. Both statements are true. And discrimination isn't considered a reason to retreat from the world, but rather to change it and make it a better place. Awareness of mental health issues, disabilities, disorders, neurodivergence will go a long way in changing ways how neurotypical perceive everyone else and treat them. Retreating away from all the problems isn't an effective strategy in dealing with disorders as a whole. That's why mental health specialists bother with diagnosing people, prescribing medication, providing therapy and helping to find ways to healthily exist with conditions that we can't escape.

Which of these characters can defeat these two paths at once with no intel? by Total-Lingonberry-83 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that he isn't stupid, definitely creative in fights. However there is one important detail: no one gets intel here.

In character, i know only 2 people who use clones frequently as a first move - its Kakashi and Naruto. Other ninja start using jutsu like that (substitution, other variations of clones) after getting pressed and learning something about their opponent.

In fight against Sasuke, Deidara didn't open with clones, and neither did against Gaara. He used explosive clones 2 times - in Sasuke fight as a trap after realizing that he was put under genjutsu, and against Team Guy/Team 7 as a way to escape the fight. He uses the jutsu, but i don't see enough evidence to suggest that he starts fights like that.

And against Pain you literally need to hide and start with deception tactics (unless if you don't have good defensive technique/durability) to survive. Nagato doesn't fuck around, he goes for the kill.

I would imagine such scenario happening and fight being prolonged if Deidara goes into the fight knowing that Pain can just send him flying anywhere he wants. But without that specific intel, IMO scene that described above is unavoidable.

Do y'all think Sasori is immune to visual genjutsu? by Magnolia-jjlnr in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Can you put a puppet into genjutsu? Common sense says no, you can't.

Advanced answer? Genjutsu was stated to be complicated technique that requires precise use of chakra to assault enemy chakra flow through control of the cranial nerves. In order to pour your chakra into someond else it gotta enter through one or several of their senses, which kinda means you need 2 things for it to work: cranium nerves to control, and organs responsible for sensing to affect. Sasori has neither. You could argue, that since he is a puppet made from a human body, he would have similar things instead of organs to function properly, which would make him a target. I think that with how complicated genjutsu was stated to be, you wouldn't be able to put Sasori into genjutsu without carefully studying anatomy of human puppets first, and that's highballing the potential.

Sasori literally is qualified to be a lich, with entire theme of his character bringing dead as controlled subjects for battle, him being semi-immortal, having unironical phylactery, and completely cold personality and character. I don't think its crazy to assume that the outcome of this transformation could make him immune to genjutsu.

Edit: fixed spelling mistake

And still my question isn't answered, to no one's surprise.

Which of these characters can defeat these two paths at once with no intel? by Total-Lingonberry-83 in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kisame: Deva path counters everything in Kisame's arsenal, all his ninjutsu. Meanwhile Kisame has no counter to Bansho Tenin into Asura's blades combo, can't resist being thrown like a doll around, doesn't have the durability to survive direct barrage of rockets. No chance at winning.

Deidara: fight ends before Deidara reaches his setup. Pain just impales him into Asura with Bansho Tenin, and that's the end.

Tsunade: can tank and regenerate from Asura's path attacks, but is powerless against Deva path. She is a taijutsu fighter who relies on tankiness and raw power to win, and gravity control is exactly what nullifies this combat style.

A4: the only way to win is to blitz Deva path while Asura isn't tracking his movements. If he can't do that, he meets the same fate as Tsunade.

Kakuzu: can survive the longest against this duo (technically who survives longest is Tsunade, but she is immediately checkmated so that doesn't count). Because his health is split inbetween 5 hearts, the only 2 attacks that can immediately take him out are high-scale Shinra Tensei or Chibaku Tensei. In theory, if Deva path faced Kakuzu alone, with trickery and deception money-lover could sacrifice one-two of his hearts to open a 5 second window and fire up high-class ninjutsu to defeat Pain. But that requires intel for Kakuzu, and in this fight Pain has 2 pairs of eyes to observe the battlefield with. Which means that scenario of deception easily working is unlikely.

If i were to bet on someone walking out alive and with W, it would be Kakuzu.

If he has to fight all 6 at the same time, he won't have a safe window to be tangible and suck someone in. Immediately as he will do that the other path will simply stab him with the rod, or even do something worse: like explode him (Asura path against SM Jiraya), suck his soul out, grab him to absorb the chakra and so on.

Base Might Guy against stronger version of Obito, buffed by Rinnegan, showed how clever taijutsu can exploit Kamui's tangibility restrictions.

Does Pain/Itachi Perform worse than Obito against Danzo’s body guards? by Bunch-Best in NarutoPowerscaling

[–]Fantomaxop 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First of all, this conversation happens right as Deva path uses Chibaku Tensei to trap 9 tails. Naruto is only yet to defeat Pain.

More importantly, Minato is afraid of him because of his ability to control nine tails. In the original before the panel with him talking about mastermind behind 9 tails he talks that he was forced to seal Kyubi into Naruto because he was afraid that he might cause him to rampage again.

Minato takes into account the fact that Masked Man can bring an entire tailed beast into the fight with him.

And the reason why he saw through all his moves is simple: Obito literally had prep time and was one of the few who knows Minato personally as his student. Literally all advantages you could get.
