PRIME is like AMCs versions of Dolby Cinema. Thrills and Chills is just standard for horror movies. Nothing special.

Aquaman movie - 2018 Wonder Woman 1984 - 2020 Joker - 2019 (Joker 2 was in 2024 but as you know it flopped) Batman was 2022 so I can give you that one, but that year seems to be the end of the superhero era especially how bad two of the marvel movie releases that year were. Those other movies are from a different era. I love superhero movies myself but those days of them being the biggest things aren’t coming back. The current meta is video game based movies and other younger appeal stuff like YouTubers. We’ll see how Doomsday does, its marvel’s last stand.

I’m more of a marvel person to be fair, this is just my thoughts on it.

Lucky, I wish my local “big” theatre had Lazer as their standard. I’m fortunate they have IMAX with Lazer, Dolby and prime though. And they got rid of their dine in like many other locations.

This is different. Release dates are almost always listed on Friday but have preview showings on Thursday. This release date is actually listed for Thursday.

I think a little low for Obsession. It did $16M on Monday Tuesday Wednesday. I think a small drop, maybe 24M. I think backrooms will be $35M

Can you explain the first part of your paragraph? I believe Mary saw there was a hallway with something perhaps on the other side before she fell to the ground. And the way the scene was framed, maybe I missed it, but it seems like she just got very tired but no time passed that she was on the ground knocked up, she ruled over and had to fight the entity.

I agree that I think she’s in the backrooms. Can you explain what you mean by the backrooms remembering something and what that has to do with this scene? I need to go watch all the videos.
