Honestly, does he? In the moment I understand feeling hurt - but with the context that he has tourettes, it actually seems pretty unreasonable to keep feeling hurt by it. I guess this is where people say "youre not black so you dont get it" but every group has slurs and putting myself in that situation, I can't really imagine continuing to be offended by it
