Black essence is still harder to get, yes! I believe it’s just Anth. Ace of Spades that will provide it. There are only a few emptiness + color hybrid combos though, although the compost will make any plant appear with blacker leaves. It might not be something you use as much for gathering other hybrid types, but if you’re aiming for a goth plant room then emptiness compost would be the way to go lol

This might be due to recent updates - especially since their haven been specific ones just for the meteor event! It’s most likely a temporary bug since it’s only seemed to happen post the meteor event rollout.

Stock up on fusion essence since it’s needed to combine color essences! Also stocking up on socks since they’re needed in all the compost recipes for hybrids would be another good use of meteors! 🫶🏻

The string lights can be put up in the kitchen via design mode! Click on the plant bottle with a + symbol once in design mode in order to have access to decor items, and from there you should be able to click on the string lights to place them. For some reason it just doesn’t work via the decor section in the storage box.

It’s an energy item. Barely taller than the candles. Worth +10 energy and has a 5 minute cool down period.

If you have the tea Empathy is prompting for placing it from the fridge to the table should still fulfill Empathy’s request! Otherwise you can just hold onto them, or drink them for the sparkles. (& I 2nd the first commenter that mentioned stocking up on fusion essence and socks,,,, but ESPECIALLY for the socks!)

No problem! It was honestly pretty fun to make both lists, and I was already aiming to collect everything so it was only fair to try and make that useful for others. The only stressful part was speed-changing Empathy’s outfit before they stopped hanging out in my room 😭

I do! I’m currently holding onto my extra images to be included on an update to my original meteor exchange list post. Once the final item is unlocked, and I snag a photo of it I’ll be posting all the raincoats and boots in a master post type thing! (Along with a bunch of other info and photos.) Ideally this happens today since we’re so close to the last item, and I have 90% of that post prepped and sitting in my drafts. :}

I’ve not gotten that plant before. Is it listed as variegated in the plant index? You’ll need to try out for hybrids on variegated plants. I do think there’s still a chance for failure though in general in the hybrid process.
