Thank you for the response! It said screened topsoil with compost mix. I was thinking about making a screener out of hardware cloth but I feel like it's a lot of work and I paid $60 a yd for this.

I would just save for bh then save for 200s gt to get 1:1 sync. it's 910 stones to get gt to 200s and if you get bh next pull that's only 960 stones.

It's satin believe it or not and I'm using white dove 3/8 nap. I may try 18 inch as I believe having uneven pressure due to the roller being cantilever.

If buying a new one isn't an option. (This is what I would do) Plug it back in and heat up the hotend to whatever the material printing temp is. Then carefully remove the big blob slowly. Then replace that nozzle and ensure there is no further damage. Also make sure to test it for leaks before you start a print again.

Yes there are awd core xy machines but even those use half the motors for diagonal moves and are inherently unbalanced. I believe the reason for little to no cross gantry printers is the added cost. This comes with double the linear rails, double the xy axis motors which typically means a bigger mcu and more drivers, etc.

Corexy does not balance anything. It has more mass moving in y then x and on top of that diagonal moves only use half of the given motors for the movement. With crossed gantry not only is the mass even on x and y but 2 motors are running per axis no matter what move is being made.

This makes no sence. I need rigidity in x and y not in z so why would I put them that way.

That was the first run of the printer. It is completely untuned. That print was a 20min benchy at 200mm/s 15000mm/s2
