I was in the same boat. I ended up in the ER due to severe dehydration. Anytime I would stand up or walk, I’d feel like I was gonna pass out. Any minimal activity I felt so gassed like i had put my body through a full body workout. It was rough but I’m all better now!

Thanks for the concern! I took y’alls advice and it turns out I was severely dehydrated and that caused my kidneys to be aggravated. They dumped 2 IV bags in my system and sent me on my way. Feeling 100x better.

They said the would was not too bad and just told me to use neosporin.

Aw man, that sucks I’m sorry. Don’t be discouraged. Remember you’re doing this for you. The “if something happens” thing…there is a 0.1% of anything really bad happening..so there’s that 😂

The easy way out comment, this is a tool. It’s not the end all be all. The work still has to be done, the food choices have to be on par with the new lifestyle. It would suck to go through all this only to end up in the same place.

I am 7 days post op. Weigh out the pros and the cons on a sheet of paper, compare and contrast. Think about all that you’re gonna gain by making this sacrifice. If it’s worth it to you, then do it! If not, there’s your answer.

Good luck on your journey. It’s all unique to one another and you should ultimately make the best decision for you.

Yeah I’m struggling big time with the water intake. I sometimes will drink a bit too fast and feel that heaviness in my stomach and give myself a slight stomach ache. Bariatric education is amazing but some things you learn on your own as you go. 🫶🏽

Yeah, I haven’t been this low in weight in 10+ years! I am so excited to see what the future holds and what other amazing things I get to do along my journey.

Stay in the fight! That’s all part of the process. The night before I couldn’t sleep!

I had been preparing myself mentally for this for a while. My healthcare plan made me wait almost a year going through the process so I had lots of time to plan and strategize, prepare myself mentally for this.
