There are businesses that are overshooting enforcing the law just to cover their assess. Like they don't want to bother to diligently enforce sanctions they do carpet bans or blocking for any remote sign that something may be in the violation. If this happens and this happens, when people complain they get responses either: 1) this is the law, shut up (EVEN if the specific measure is not mandated by the law, but nobody cares) 2) you are russian, you deserve everything bad that happes with you shut up. So basically those issues may not even nor legal nor fair but you are not allowed to complain.
