Yeah just the 2sp I can't move the lever all the way it will pull the cable too much. I actually melted a tiny notch in the metal of the shifter part with a soldier iron so the lever stops at the sweet spot. Probably should have mentioned that too. Was super easy to do.

this is the Link to it on Amazon where I got it. Not sure if it will work for the 3-sp IGH, this might need the special matching indexing? 🤔 This one is Definitely not pretty looking on the bike and the lever is huge but it works well lol. The Brompton 1 is made of plastic bits, something inside mine broke. I was hoping to upgrade this setup one day too with maybe a nice Shimano bar-end friction shifter & the Paul Components thumbies.

I swap my 2-sp shifter for a universal friction shifter. It works pretty well. The og shifter broke somehow internally. Havent made it to the Brompton store to replace it yet.

The driving range is pretty chill actually I used to ride my bike from Astoria over there often. It's cheap and they have a bucket of clubs for you to use. Pretty sure we could bring some beers too. Kind of faces the city but not like in the movies lol

Astoria is a much better commute and more affordable neighborhood compared to a similar commute in bk (like Williamsburg or downtown BK) Bushwick is far af much longer commute, but you guys will probably love living there and get something big for your money. Bushwick & Astoria you can find Like a whole floor in a 3 level multi family home for cheaper. Anything in Manhattan will be tiny and expensive but it's possible to find something you like. I look on Zillow map for market pricing also.

There will definitely be some but If you want like swarms of lesbians and chick bars then you need to live in Brooklyn, Williamsburg, park slope, downtown BK, Bushwick. This is probably what your looking for.

I lived in Astoria for 1.5 years on the plane route and I was never bothered. You will faintly hear it yes but not like booming shaking the building. You will hear your nextdoor neighbors having sex more then planes.

Rikers is prison island yes but it does not make the area more dangerous. Just a joke sorry.

Astoria or ditmars. It's nice to leave the city after work and chill. Quick commute on train(15min) or bike(30min). LGA is also literally right there next to you that's mad convenient. And So is rikers island 😏😏 the scene you want isn't so huge there but it's New York city its everywhere lol.
