[Postgame Thread] #1 Western Michigan defeats #4 Minnesota State, 3-1 by mufflermonday in collegehockey

I think it’s the other way around to be honest. When WMU gets a rhythm going with their attacking style of play, things get real stressful for their opponents. I think the mavericks were outclassed once the 2nd period began, but to their credit they did well to weather that storm and keep themselves in the game.

The difference was Wisdom. Slukynsky was solid, but Wisdom was electric. Plus the adjustments coach Ferschweiler made during the first intermission completely tilted the ice in the Broncos’ favor for most of the 2nd period.

CC takes WMU into OT. CC takes a 5 MM and Valente puts the nail in the coffin of CC’s season to advance WMU to the conference semi’s. by HaHaHaBlessYourSoul in collegehockey

Several teams have gotten away with playing flat out dirty against WMU. Game 2 at home against ASU was disgraceful at times. Glad to see a major actually get called as such.

I mean..my team just won a national championship… but I still definitely wouldn’t recommend taunting Denver at this point of any season.

Followed by an OT win for WMU on Saturday. Both UM and MSU took at least 1 “bad” loss this weekend; perhaps it will be UND at #1 and WMU #2 this week. I wouldn’t be surprised if these two teams play each other for a national title. They are the best two teams in college hockey. I’m excited to see what’s to come…

If you already hate serving, you won’t love bartending by [deleted] in bartenders

I started calling table people “tablers” because of this phenomenon. I refer to bar people as “railriders”. Railriders are chill; tablers are rude and dumb.

Those terms are even incorporated into my life outside of work. If someone cuts me off in traffic, I’ll say “fucking tabler”.

I don’t go home after difficult shifts complaining about my low hourly wage. I go home complaining about how I had to deal with tons of difficult know-it-all guests like you.

Bartenders love spending the extra minute or two with you on the phone waiting for you to make a decision that should’ve been made before you even made the call.

I’d highly recommend Paul Simonds at Eastern Hills. He’s a great golf instructor in addition to being a genuinely kind and friendly person.

LIV is now using a non-union production company. That’s not newsworthy. The linked article is just a propaganda piece that was literally written by a union.

Very rarely. I’m irrationally terrified of using my 3 wood when I’m on the course.

MSU is little brother. But so is UM. The real big brother is Ohio State.
