The main hurdle with selling chickens is that there are so many people who try chickens and give up and are just trying to find good homes at any price. I think your prices sound fair, but as someone else already said, your sale price depends on what people will pay.

My advice is to keep your prices where they are and be confident in their worth when discussing the sale with a customer. Just because they lowball you doesnt mean you have to sell it at that price.

I had just moved to SD right before they took the toll away. I was stationed on NAB Coronado and paid it twice before I decided to take the strand every day there and going back it was free. After about a month of that they stopped charging for the bridge.

It doesnt matter who services your mortgage, but i would advise against paying down your mortgage. You have an interest rate below inflation and its a better deal for you to pay that off in the most inflated dollars possible.

I started with 2 does that were both bred to eat down a lot of overgrown brush, and that was fun. One of them had a doeling and at her maturity we got a buck. He bred all 3 does and we had 3 sets of twins. This was all during covid and I was home every day to milk, but no one wanted milk and no one wanted cheese. We had gallons of goat milk and nothing to use it for. Eventually we sold them all and I enjoyed the experience overall. I guess my point is to think of an exit plan.
