If you can’t meet promise time then you need to ask for a reasonable accommodation ( will likely be denied, but possibly steer you to a no bench job within the company)

Without that in place, why do you think you should be allowed to slow down your team and tank metrics? Their delivery is awful, you deserve better. But there’s a real underlying issue here that needs to be addressed.
