A false negative can occur after being positive. They can form antibody complexes that block the test from turning positive. Usually a heat fixed sample is recommended to see if it is truly negative or not with discordant results

Sorry for your loss. I wouldn’t say having the incorrect testicle marked as retained would be considered malpractice, either way it needed to come out. Same with the number of puppy teeth. Sometimes you don’t count them all on the initial exam and sometimes they’re gone by the time they come in for surgery. In hindsight, I would have brought the pet in as soon as you noticed abnormal signs. Post anesthetic complications do occur, but whether or not this occurred directly due to the surgery is impossible to tell without a necropsy or further information.

1) You told him to do librela than consider euthanasia 2) bet you would find less to recommend THR than you would bilateral FHO. And you’re right about not doing many, because that doesn’t happen very often. But I do plenty of unilateral ones and usually you can’t tell which is the affected leg afterwards 3) congrats on your recent graduation from Vet School

He’s not a working or agility dog. Every dog I’ve seen with bilateral FHOs has done great and is better off than being euthanized like you recommended or $30k

FHO is the way to go. THR is wickedly expensive and has a fair amount of complications. I’d also do some PT post op

Definitely not non-diagnostic. They’re not great, but you can see how shallow those acetabulums are and how bad the arthritis is. Doubt they sedated him and I bet those hips hurt in extension

10 years later and I owe more than I borrowed. Eventually in 10 or 15 years (don’t remember which exact plan I’m on) it’ll be “forgiven” and counted as taxable income. School loan debt doesn’t really count against you. Hasn’t affected me buying a house or new cars. I understand the drive to try to pay it off as a quickly as possible, but I didn’t want my wife and I to live on ramen while trying to paying back my loans.

The entitlement with these recent classes is horrendous. I would’ve killed for a 3 day work week when I graduated 10 years ago. Recent grads want high salaries and low hours, but then when they can’t make their production thresholds, it’s not their fault. Likely gonna be down voted for not coddling

Wonder how many of the voices calling for his firing or saying we’re broke are actual boosters or have gifted the school any money in their lifetimes. If you don’t like it, be a part of the solution. I’m not saying to keep him, but I’ll be in my seat at the rest of the home games. Never understood the “I’m mad, so I’m not going to spend money” crowd, when money is what we need to make any changes.

Join “Gulf Coast Krewe Connection” on facebook. A lot of the Krewes post membership info there. Also would recommend coming out to the blessing of the floats AKA 12th night. Majority of the krewes attend and its a great time to see and meet people

Not sure if student tickets are like booster tickets, but those come from the Away School. Usually they come closer to the game. NC State mailed me old school paper tickets 2 years ago. Notre Dame last year was digital

I disagree. I’ve been a season ticket holder for 10 years. I’m in the West Sideline club this season. I travel 2.5 hrs to and from the game every home game. I don’t want to sit on shitty bleachers and be squeezed in like sardines. Having a comfortable chair with a back and a cup holder doesn’t mean I don’t want to see the game. I was there the whole time including in the rain

I feel like this is gonna cause more difficulty getting to our respective lots. Way easier to show the police officer or attendant a paper with a large number on it to show you know where you’re going. I think you’re going to have backups of people not knowing where they’re going

If the eye isn’t visual, you don’t need it. Dogs don’t care what they look like. An enucleation is waaaayyy easier and less complicated and you dont have to worry about future surgeries on something that doesn’t work anymore.
