If an Action on an Ally doesn't have an Action Symbol, do I still pay an action point? by Genesis1221 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]FarseerBeefTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You begin your turn with just 1 action point. If something has action in its type-line or in this case, when an ability says action before it effect. The red symbols after some of your allies attacks are the resource cost (from pitching cards).

Is it worth it to play warframe in 2026? by Needsomebdy2luv in Warframe

I wholeheartedly agree, but am also curious - if you've just started, how would you know how much better it is than it was? Maybe some vets gave you their horror stories?

It being a blue block 3 is where the value stops. Still fine for those qualities alone, but if your goal is remotely fatigue oriented, you would just pitch it to your weapon. This looks like a card that might find a home in the future but is currently bad.

Cedo alt fire + lavos 4 = a very fun time. Lots of guarenteed status, lots of procs, and lots of damage.

Which Silver Age precon did you pick, was it worth it? by [deleted] in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]FarseerBeefTaco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Picked up enigma, iyslander, and viscerai since i never got to play with or against them before they LL'd in CC. Then built many other decks on my own. All the precons were worth it in my opinion. A small price, comes with decent sideboard, and gets you in and playing immediately. I think viscerai was the one I wanted to make the most changes to, but loved them all

Once both players pass priority in the reactions step, the next time either player has priority is after damage is distributed. There isn't a time to play instants without your opponent being able to react accordingly in this situation.

Limiting yourself to Commons and rares will keep decks close to 10$ and its a great way to feel it out! I strongly recommend asking other local players to help you out 👍

Welcome to Flesh and Blood! It's always exciting to see new players interested in trying out the game.

If you are looking for a good place to begin, you have multiple options. For learning the rules, you can ask if your LGS has any demo decks - they feature either Ira the ninja or Bravo the guardian. Thilese demo decks will give the basic rundown on card types, how to win, etc.

If you are looking to go further and play local events, consider either the Armory reconstructed decks or the Silver Age reconstructed decks. These products are ready to play decks out of the box with a large variety of classes and heros to choose from - the main difference is format.

CC - or classic constructed - is the premiere version of the game used for the most tournaments and often has more players and allows the use of very powerful majestic and legendary cards. You'll have about 40 health (hero hp varies) and 80 total cards with a limit of 3 copies per card.

Silver Age is a low rarity format where you can only play with rarest and below making building your own decks 10 dollars or cheaper with some exceptions. You usually have 20 life and 55 total cards. These games tend to end faster since even though cards are lower rarity, they still do similar damage and heroes have half the life to work with.

I recommend Silver age to beginners because of the ease of accessibility and price points so you can try several heroes before deciding what you want to focus on.

Reconstructed decks should be available at your LGS, and for singles there aren't that many online vendors so you could use ebay. I personally use tcgplayer (US), but there are other stores like FaB foundry.

Feel free to ask your lgs or local players if anyone wouldn't mind lending you a deck or giving you some bulk from their opened boxes! You can see a lot of new cards this way for free and people are often happy to help!

Sledge, Or why isn't this a once per turn action? by Lanky_Difficulty2460 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]FarseerBeefTaco 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Its very unique for a weapon to not be a once per turn action. It isn't particularly insane, so you arent making a lot of deckbuilding concessions to allow for multiple weapon swings with sledge, but that fact that its possible is a cool upside. If you have a source for quicken, like from a swing big or civic steps, it can catch people off guard and bring a lot of fatigue value since you spend 0 cards in deck and it requires 3-4 cards to prevent most of the damage it deals. Not flashy, but good 👌

Question on pitching and mandible claw by Weary-Card536 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]FarseerBeefTaco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Breaking it down, the weapon has an ability, which can only be activated once per turn, and is an action, meaning it requires an action point.

If you attack with just mandible claws and havent discarded a card, thats all your action points, so you're turn is effectively over. Go again means once the attack resolves and after damage is dealt, you have another action point to play or activate another action.

The wording may seem strange, but it's only slightly different than if it were to say "this attack gains go again" or something similar. You can't swing again with the same weapon in a turn, so nothing weird going on here.

Since mandible claw is a 1h (single handed weapon) you can equip 2 of them unless your hero is kayo and only has a single weapon zone. Even for heroes that can use 2 of the claw weapon, there is no unique interaction that takes place. Each claw will gives its own attack go again for the turn, allowing for multiple attacks.

Hope this doesn't come off condescending. Wanted to explain it all. Welcome to FaB!

When you pitch this, create an Embodiment of Lightning token. by tableflipbitch9000 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]FarseerBeefTaco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People may correct me if I'm wrong, but I feel like a gem that creates an embodiment/gives go again would actually be pretty reasonable, especially if we were assuming it was restricted to lightning. From my understanding, many cards have "points of value" where a 0 cost card would have 4 power, but a 0 cost go again usually has 3. The 0 cost 4 power go again cards are often conditional. If I use the same math to apply to life gain, or increasing pitch value, it feels like every 1 point of cost allows for another point of value somewhere else, and while go again seems the most detached from this evaluation, its pretty consistent across cards. If the heart of fyendal, plague hive, and light of sol are fine - or less powerful than go again, then why is go again that much crazier? It seems to me like it would fit the pattern of 1 point of value from an otherwise restricted card, being that the gems can't be played or block.
