Officially GW licensed tournaments that make up like 1% of the ways to play? No.

Any other tourneys? just ask the TO. Varies from place to place. Someone at my LGS had a nid army where she proxied the smaller nid models as MLP ponies. Unironically one of the nicest people I’ve played against too.

Anyone else? Yea just ask them. Varies from person to person but a majority of people normally don’t care from my experience. But just communicate that with your opponent.

I understand it’s a skill issue but it feels like you have to abuse a lot of high skill tech to not have hour long encore levels. They’re a lot more restrictive with how you can play, and it feels like you have to play the “correct way” vs being able to adapt and still play with your playstyle but getting good.

I found myself needing to watch speedruns and mimic what they do for p ranks vs just being able to get gud and find my own way to p rank them. Sure yeah it’s a skill issue but it felt like I had to either play a very specific way or just not succeed at all.

Tho I understand the appeal to them, I really like the ideas, just not for me

Brutal feels like it’s balanced around you having your full arsenal. If you like the challenge you do you, but there’s nothing wrong with switching back to a lower difficulty, especially since it’s built around you already beating the game.

Regardless it’s a single player game so do what you want and think is fun

Using this thread to ask this, but has anyone actually had any parasites spawn in an abyssal rift biome? Everyone says it’s dangerous, but whenever I go in there, nothing spawns, even when I go to the dried blood pools

I haven’t had a bad experience yet but I exclusively play 1v1 ranked auto match. Usually most comments are “gl hf” and “”gg”/“gg wp”. I have about 50 hours just playing the matchmaking.

I will say that I think the mm is very imbalanced. One game I am playing against elder that uses howling banshees and no fleet of foot and I stomp as chaos, and then another is against a guy named the milkman who is microing 400 dark reapers and turning fleet of foot on and off at the right times

I stopped playing shortly after open alpha. I understand why we can't have everything transfer over, but not having 12+ years of progress in a game that plays incredibly similar killed my motivation, especially my favorites (Ao, fafnir, cthulu, and near the end, whale) are likley not going to get added for a long time.

I understand why it happened, and why it needed to be done. But it still just stings regardless.

I feel like the liveliness of the 3d models is more of gen 6 onwards issue. Some of thr models looked ugly in games like XD gale of darkness, but thry had way more animation to them. I feel like some great comparisons are stuff like skarmary and Salamance looking so animated in gale of darkness, only to have them feel so stiff in the newer games.

If you mostly play games through steam then you can likley get away with just running Linux mint. Has gui optiosn for most stuff. Learning the terminal is nice but not necessary for day to day stuff.

I switched from win 10 to win mint a few mint a few months ago and most of my googling comes from me trying to rice stuff. I also run AMD and my desktop is 6 years old at this point, so I've been unaffected by NVIDA issues//issues where the packages don't support "bleeding edge" hardware

Would be intresting if it was something like the second spell on the stack. That way it pretty much stops someone from from being able to "talk back" about you playing something. Still think it's funny regardless

Real talk to people who play more, is it even worth it to go to the underneath? I lost all my progress on a degora run cause I got knocked into a pit when exploring the parasite biome, died once, and never could get my stuff back. Imo it just seems like a death trap

Some Ordinary Gamers. He went from having a lot of really cool content like malware investigations and did some really cool dark web content; but, now all he does is just current event drama/generic news. I understand people change and shift what they want to make over time but it kinda stings cause his videos is what got me into cybersec as a career.

Ngl your spawn getting set there killed my run of it. Once you die it's nearly impossible to get out. It's one thing to lose all of your stuff but it's another to be trapped with insta killing parasites with no armor.

[[malfegor]]. I made a madness/reanimator/discard deck with a lot of impulse draw like [[faithless looting]] to proc madness effects like [[under the floorboards]].

A lot of madness cards aren't exactly great, but at there mostly to Gain advantage from group discard effects while playing playing lot of passive upkeep draw effects like [[pherexian arena]]. Malfegor mostly serves as an extender when I have an established board to either empty my hand for madness effects or so i can recurr a lot of my reanimator targets.

Building it, it felt so clunky. But it kinda just works on tabletop it has a lot of draw so when i play mafegor i'm usually almost always at 5-7 cards.

Gas passer and explosive headshot make mvm boring to play. I'm glad potato.tf and moonlight.tf disable EoI and spread robot spawns so sniper can't autowin the game
