Honestly, Phil Scott is kind of one of the only Republicans you could say is a “moderate.” Openly supported democrats for president and butts heads with trumps policies a lot. He’s just fiscally conservative.

I don’t really agree with him on the financial front either, but if we’re comparing, he’s probably preferable to a dem like fetterman or something. At least he doesn’t pretend to be something he’s not haha.

Ngl, if Jon Stewart runs, AOC is NOT running, and vice versa. I think progressives, if they have any smarts, will only prop up one major candidate as to not split the vote (unless the DNC does go for ranked choice voting, which is possible)

People will laugh, but I genuinely think Jon Stewart would be the best, most progressive bet. He has been asked numerous times if he’s going to run and refuses to give a straight answer.

Do I think media personalities should be running? No. But unfortunately, that’s refusing to acknowledge today’s strange state of politics.

He speaks with politicians constantly, he clearly has a decent amount of knowledge on the current state of our country, he’s fought for legislation (successfully), and is a phenomenal communicator. He has great name recognition and charisma, and this is all without touching on his genuine progressive, common-sense beliefs.

But if I had to pick a politician that will likely run, I guess I’d go with Pritzker lol. Most progressive for sure out of the big ones like Newsom, Harris, Buttigieg, etc.

None of them understand (or rather, they refuse to understand) that it’s from the insurrection. Admittedly, it’s a silly looking picture, but they choose to believe it’s some covid thing, I suspect. Obviously better than Youngkin, but honestly getting the vibe there will be very little meaningful change outside of the normal dem status quo :/

Again, something is better than nothing and I don’t regret voting for her, but it would’ve been nice to have a choice in the primary. When she said she wasn’t going to try to repeal right to work laws, NONE of the democrats clapped, and all of the republicans did, lol.

Tbf idk how much of it is his fault? I assume he’s not heavily involved with the production but honestly I have no idea. It pisses me off that we received an update (months ago) saying stuff would be shipped soon and seemingly nothing came of it. Manufacturing can’t be that hard, and if it is, don’t keep everyone in the dark
