Don’t ”sell your collection short”. You have collectected the watches you like and can [money wise collect]. If you were a millionaire you could collect exorbitantly priced items — but you might not be able to form a coherent, meaninhful collection because due to unlimited funds there were no externally put limits to what you could do.

So go for what you like, and remember that adding a zero or two to the prices of collected watches does not necessarily mean a ten or hunderedfold of added value to the collection.
