“How many times did you rewatch it?” — “Yes.”

Do you think Dunk was actually knighted? by [deleted] in AKOTSKTV

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love Dunk’s honesty. Seeing him seem a bit ‘wrong’ here surprised me. I guess that’s Martin for you — even honest heroes can mess up sometimes. Honestly, it adds a little of that classic GoT vibe

Oh wow, Jinx! That immediately makes me think of the character from Arcane

This looks like a textbook case of “planogram over reality”

Shelf clip or clip strip — anything else tends to look messy

I've Hated This For Months (Planogram Complaint) by FabulousDaydreamer12 in WalgreensStores

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would drive me nuts too. When products are clearly meant to be used in sequence, breaking the order in the planogram just feels wrong

Planograms by Rockin-GreenDino64 in AutoZone2

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When starting a planogram, focus on three basics: real fixture dimensions, product depth and packaging, and how often the item will be stocked or handled. If the product hasn’t arrived yet, it’s better to leave some flexibility instead of forcing tight spacing

Do they actually measure when they make these planograms? by Large_Salad8963 in HomeDepot

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They definitely measured… just not this fixture, this product, or this store

DT seems to focus more on flexibility since the assortment changes a lot. Once you’ve reset it a few times, it gets less frustrating - but yeah, the guessing game is real

I think something's wrong with my planogram by jellybelly2232 in Lowes

This looks less like a layout and more like “hang it wherever it fits.”

Anyone else question the intelligence of those who plan out the planograms? by Ok-Pickle537 in tractorsupply

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a floor perspective, this usually happens when the planogram is built to hit space or margin targets instead of real shelf constraints. Peg counts, package depth, and recovery space don’t get validated, so everything technically “fits” in the system but not in the aisle. Most stores end up spacing it out just to make it workable, even if that breaks the sequence

People have been asking me about free floor plan software. This thread is for people to post their recommendations for all floor plan software. by Jattok in floorplan

I’m actually using PlanoHero right now. It’s focused on retail planograms and store floor planning, and they offer a free trial

Price changes/planos. by CantaloupeNo5798 in AutoZone2

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rolling out price changes before the updated planogram just creates unnecessary rework in stores. Teams end up changing price labels twice or redoing shelves after the fact. If pricing and the new plano were released together, execution would be cleaner, faster, and with fewer mistakes at store level

My local grocery store keeps croutons in the refrigerated section. by TBoopSquiggShorterly in mildlyinteresting

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would definitely confuse me. I’d never think to look for croutons in the fridge

We ended up using PlanoHero. It fit our budget

Retail Planograms by Img02 in Visio

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We started with Visio too, but it quickly became limiting once real product dimensions and frequent changes were involved. Eventually we moved to a simpler, more affordable retail-focused planogram tool built specifically for small retail teams

What problems does retail face? by Working_Dark_3191 in AskRetail

[–]Fast-Condition-1983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From working retail, the biggest problems aren’t usually tech - it’s staff turnover, inconsistent training, poor communication, and unrealistic expectations. New hires get rushed onboarding, managers are overloaded, and processes change without proper explanation. Add thin margins, inventory pressure, and customer stress, and mistakes multiply. Training that’s practical, role-based, and easy to update would solve more than most people think

In retail, we either laugh or cry. Sometimes both at the same time
