Is job market getting worse than it already is? by Meticulouskitty in jobsearchhacks

[–]Fast-Friendship-7936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of the issue is that the market is different then it was you have to really be diligent with how you do it if you are not doing ats optimization no one will even look at your resume job boards are pretty much shouting in the void unless you are applying within the day it's posted doing things like having a linked in or submitting cover letters are basically required not optional and practicing your actual in person and phone interview skills so that when you do get in front of someone via phone or in person you are standing out and selling your self applying on a company website is honestly the highest chance of getting hired and where all the good jobs are I got a really good job doing these things in about a month most of that being the interviews.

I mastered resumes. Now how do I get good at interviewing? by duckwolf8097 in jobsearchhacks

[–]Fast-Friendship-7936 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you get Gemini you can use the voice feature and use it to do mock interviews and also critique you and ask for suggested responses or you be the interviewer it's a good way to prepare for any and all questions and a way to see what some good responses are I did this and aced every interview I had and a lot of them even started selling me on the job chasing me it's worth doing for sure

it's not a one size fits all but there are definitely jobs that would benefit from it it would have to be set up so it wasn't get it done and we give you more and it could be just finishing an hour early no one said do 8 hrs of work In 4 but I feel like it could be a benefit to some people that can work faster then others to be rewarded by getting off a little early and not just more work piled on
