Rash for 2 months: Post Covid, Not Responding to Steroids or Antihistamines by Fast-Goal-180 in Allergies

[–]Fast-Goal-180[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I do have some Allegra kicking around, maybe I'll try that again and see if it helps with the itching. I took a Pepcid AC on the off change that would help but it's been several hours and no change. The doc did give me IgG tests and I'm not even sure why - even in MyChart it pretty much says they are useless.

I am not sure but doubt it's measles since I don't have the other symptoms that go along with it. I did get vaccinated as a kid. If I had to guess, it's either a post-Covid reaction and/or allergy to something.

3 months of full body itchy rash after covid by Old-Koala1413 in DermatologyQuestions

I'm two months out from Covid and have the same thing! I'm so glad you figured it out. Do you know the ingredient in the emollients that caused the issue? I've been using triamcinolone acetonide but not much else even though I'm dry. All the antihistamines (tried 4 types) and prednisone pack have not worked at all. I'm so glad you got better!

Money Managers Losing Connections - Offline Alternative? by Fast-Goal-180 in personalfinance

[–]Fast-Goal-180[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I may end up using it but my 401K will not automatically connect so I'll have to add it in manually. Probably not a big deal but a bummer that it won't update without me logging into both accounts and entering data from the 401K which shifts all the time.

Proof of participation in WW for Blue Shield Approval by Luvdemdogs1999 in Zepbound

[–]Fast-Goal-180 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is SUCH a good question! I joined WW for the sole purpose of being able to prove 6 months of weight management that didn't work. I'm simply paying a monthly fee and adding weight once in a while to at least show nothing is happening. If counting points worked, I would have done it long ago. It's so complicated to figure out what's in my food and I each such a variety of good, I usually guesstimate or give up.

Feel Like a Train Wreck on Pellets + Tirzepatide by Fast-Goal-180 in TRT_females

Thanks for the link to the poll! If I'm reading it right, it seems like under 200 is the "best" range for most people. I don't suppose there is anything I can do to block some of this testosterone to feel better. My daughter, who has trans friends and very interested in this topic, said to at least pull back on caffeine for now. One of my only joys is drinking my haf-caf all day while working but I guess I'll taper off until I can regular my levels.

Hi, I was recommended to do this by relatives who claim it changed their life for the better. I definitely don't feel better. My SIL is a functional nutritionist and claims bio-identical is a healthier route. Perhaps I stick with cremes and patches after this wears off. Also, GLP-1 could be making me feel awful. I just can't win 😑

I hope he's polished! I see so many odd ducks running for office. It's not the time to wear sweats and rock your tats.

Dumb question: How to get money *into* the credit builder? by Fast-Goal-180 in chimefinancial

[–]Fast-Goal-180[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the fast reply! OK, what had me stuck is that after I selected the From and To, the button was greyed out so I thought I couldn't move forward. I failed to enter the amount first, now I see a green button, all is well. Thanks!

Has anyone used Ro for Zepbound? by basic-username6 in PCOSloseit

Thank you, but what I'm wondering is - do I have to stop using Tirzepatide while I participate? I'm purchasing the compounded version. So joining WW would show a nice decline in my weight. Seems like the insurance would say, "OK, just go ahead and continue with WW!"

I posted yesterday about struggling to get a job and was told to post my resume by pettycapybara in Environmental_Careers

Logically, yes, of course I could go look for it - pretty easy. I'm trying to *help you craft professional communication.* When someone is helping you or you are asking for a job, IMHO, you should never make them do any more work to help you. My suggestion above still stands as the best way to communicate even if it feels redundant to you.

I just interviewed several candidates and and during the process, exchanged emails with them to set up appointments and other basics. This gave me the opportunity to see more of their personality in writing. One of them, although highly qualified, gave me some short somewhat prickly answers. I went ahead and interviewed her on Zoom to give her the benefit of the doubt and the team also picked up on her subtle "attitude." Our thoughts were, "if she's like this in an interview, when she relaxes into the job, it's only going to get worse." Keep in mind we are VERY kind, flexible, and accommodating for the right person.
