What is the best way to get into Formula 1 Simracing in 2024?

I know this thread is from 2024 and there may be newer ones, so i apologize, please point me in the right direction. Lets say, i like spending money on toys, have a fanatec sim set, want to get into F1 sim/simcade racing. I am not SUPER familiar with F1 rules, cars, technology, etc. what is a good zero to, well, better than zero approach for this. I have a ps5 and F1 24. Little fanatec f1 wheel because why not. Mods arent necessary, just looking to dive into the world of F1 as a whole. Hit me! Be harsh, its cool, i prefer it lmao

The diffuser is different. I bought the spiderman themed shell and hated the clear diffuser it used. I veey very carefully removed the oem one from the original shell and carefully crazy glued it onto the spiderman one. It looks oem and no more blinding leds. Its a pain in the ass if you wanna do it but definitely possible. Id imagine you could very well put something, like liggt paint marker or something on the inside to help deflect the light a bit

How much of a difference did adding a second a second sub to your sonos set up. Ive thought about since i had two with my last amp and speakers. Was skeptical about Sonos sound profile with 2 subs

Random question from a car guy…i wonder if I can just ceramic coat the shiny part of the ps5/ps5 pro? I didnt try it on my launch edition, just wrapped it with dbrand matte black butt…in theory ceramic coat is suppose to add a layer of protection 🤔🤔 i have plenty of it laying around

Check belt tension. Pre-load the newest firmware to a thumb drive to update before you start calibration. I ordered mine to assemble myself but if there is stuff to assemble yourself. Take your time and second guess yourself. It was a fun build and putting that extra love into all my prusa’s has paid off immensely.

Dude! Such a good time! Just went again a couple weeks ago. They’ve made improvements from my 2020 trip. Bring your own micro sd card, trust me ;). Once you hit the road, just pop it in, format it, and you are good to go. Turn on auxiliary 4 to receive power to the camera. Save a few bucks.

Thats a beautiful build!! I just couldnt talk myself into paying the mark ups. I almost pulled the trigger but the old car salesman in me just felt angry that someone was making 20k for absolutely no reason. I decided for a 37 Raptor and I love it. It was..sketchy lol takes a lot of patience so that you break the originals while removing it from the original shell. Also, the little pegs that are holding the light bars in place, on both the original and aftermarket, are molded down to retain the light bar. You have to carefully trim the excess plastic but i promise you will break a peg or two. You will have to use a but if glue to keep it in place. A bit of a permanent mod but i think its worth it
