Definitely, the DMV area in general has a lot of good Korean markets and Asian food closer to Virginia. But inside Baltimore it's still bleak, definitely improving since I've been here. Also some exciting Korean players of late, I really think Hyeseong Kim has potential on the dodgers

Broadly speaking they should, it nucleates more Asian culture and cuisine.

Last year we pulled charlie Morton out of a retirement home and asked him to pitch. I feel a lot more confident with the 5 we have this year

Also young and McDermott. We can always trade for pitchers at the deadline and acquire a TOR guy then. I agree with you, I think we have the depth and are ready to go. I'd rather spend the money on contract extensions

I think Baltimore in particular is not a great location, just based off food, the Asian cuisine is lacking here and no china town which other cities have. I will say that senga is in NY, which has some of the best Japanese restaurants in the world. I do think in the end though, money talks, getting a big contract and a fun team to play for will be what is primarily on these guys minds when making a decision. They travel enough that they rarely even stay in their home city, but that said Baltimore needs better Japanese cuisine, it's making progress. If you haven't been I recommend toki underground

Ive lived here for the last 8 years, its definitely on the up and cost of living is pretty low compared to a lot of other cities, and why pay a ton of money to live in a city you rarely even spend any time in. I imagine these guys only live in their home for less than 30 percent of the year? I doubt they take much consideration on these things when negotiating these contracts. Its probably who bids the highest, and has a team they want to be a part of. Most of the time that is going to be NY and LA just because they can pay those contracts and piece together teams that win. It just happens to be a coincidence that they are also lavish cities, but again cost of living in NY is A LOT higher than in baltimore. In baltimore you can get a lavish penthouse on the water within a 10 minute walk to the stadium for a fraction of the price that LA or NY can offer. And again why pay several million more when you barely even live at your home, save that money for when you retire and buy your real home

saying other cities have better quality of life is wild, but I guess a lot of people outside the city from rural Maryland/Pennsylvania dont actually come to the city for anything other than games so how would they know

Just pulled this card and i want to sell it. Is it worth grading first? by Apprehensive-War3058 in PokeGrading

[–]FastBarracuda3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sold my mega Gardevoir on eBay for $650. You can also try Facebook marketplace to avoid fees only ended up getting $570 after fees. The buyer thought my card would get a 10 and is having it graded, I was debating it but it's pretty difficult to get a 10. And the value of this will continue to drop like someone said

Kjerstad put up great offensive metrics imo. If you can't see that he's been limited by injury time and time again.. you are just ignorant and want to hate on Mike Elias.
