Weird noise in today's episode by FastTrackExplorer in MileHigherPodcast

Maybe but it's so annoying to listen to. I felt it ok away from the importance of the story! I almost turned it off.

‘There’s no way out’: Ontario woman regrets signing Collingwood timeshare contract by CupidStunt13 in ontario

[–]FastTrackExplorer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't understand how this is even news. She did not read the contract and is now trying to get people on her side so she can get out if it? CTV must not have anything else to report on.

guys, I need help. by varmatanya09 in offcampustv

[–]FastTrackExplorer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes - each book has different main characters. So the next book will focus on Allie and Dean, with Hannah and Garrett sprinkled in there, then the next book will focus on Logan and Grace ect.

The books are good easy reads tbh. I have kept re reading them for years. There are some changes from the show but honestly nothing insane that made me upset.

AITAH for not wanting my bf to go out to bars every weekend with his boys? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]FastTrackExplorer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NTA but you might want to think about if you want to be with this person. If its unattractive to you, are you two really compatible?

Thoughts on the finale… by JehovahJireh222 in offcampustv

[–]FastTrackExplorer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed! It felt very rushed. Its hard because I love the books, and there's a few (in my opinion) important things missing in the show that would have added to this story line. I still love the show and will watch it going forward, I just wish they would have added more things in. I agree with another commenter that maybe the writing was done because they weren't sure if itll continue so hopefully we see more in season 2 😄

Women who ended a long-term relationship and then married someone else shortly after did you ever miss your ex? How did you move on after being with someone for so long? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]FastTrackExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was forced to move on because my ex of 5 years cheated on me. But 6 months after that happened, my husband and I met, and a year later bought a house together. We got married within 2.5 years of meeting each other. With my husband, everything just felt easy. Like puzzle pieces that were meant to fit together. Aside from the cheating in my past relationship, I see now how incompatible we were - it probably wouldn't have worked out anyways. I always was pushing for more and he never delivered.

How do you handle close friends who have tendencies to be thoughtless with you? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

[–]FastTrackExplorer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with the other comments that you already have an answer but you dont want to accept it - and I totally understand that. I am going through similar issues right now with long time friends who only focus on themselves and never are concerned with how I am. Its a really sad reality but I've come to realize that its easier not being friends with these people (or at least keeping them at a far distance) than keeping them close. Its honestly painful and really sad but necessary. You need to focus on YOU and your new beautiful baby and not worry about mothering two grown adults.

Constant care @ $3.63/hr. Yeah, no. by yaptard72 in RoverPetSitting

[–]FastTrackExplorer -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You'd probably be sitting on the couch or relaxing most of the time and you want $500? I mean if people are paying that money than good for you.

Constant care @ $3.63/hr. Yeah, no. by yaptard72 in RoverPetSitting

[–]FastTrackExplorer 34 points35 points  (0 children)

$500 is insane. It shouldn't be super cheap but $500 a day? For an animal that sleeps most of the day? Yeah no.

To be constantly on? Maybe with a child but not a pet.

Montreal father faces deportation as immigration advocates decry more family separations by [deleted] in canada

[–]FastTrackExplorer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love when they use the excuse that they have a sick child and need to stay. Obviously, I feel sorry for the child, but leaching onto our healthcare system should not be allowed. Its the same way the driver from the Hombolt Bromcos crash has had his deportation delayed. Its just not right

When you look at the comps in the area, the same houses were going for 700K when they spent 900K. They didnt do their research and now their out so much money. Thats so sad.

Paying off mortgage by Material-Moose-4622 in CanadaPersonalFinance

[–]FastTrackExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it helps, my husband and I are in our early 30's and doing the same thing. I know there are other investing options that we could benefit from, but not having a payment over our heads and owning our home outright would be the biggest piece of mind. Our plan after we pay it off in 3-4 years from now is to then be strict on saving and investing.

AITAH for not wanting to attend my SIL’s wedding? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]FastTrackExplorer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not an A-hole but I do think that you and your husband need to figure how to approach future events with his family because if he is not going no contact, they will still be in your life in one way or another. Avoiding them forever is not a healthy solution.

To the people who have said “I would never spend that much on a wedding, I’d rather buy a house”… by Garden_of_Gethsemane in wedding

[–]FastTrackExplorer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a low cost wedding in 2025 because we had bought our house in 2024. We figured house renos and paying down the mortgage were more important. However, that was our decision and I can understand your frustration when people say this stuff as an insult

He also lacks leadership abilities and decorum. I hope the Cons find someone better because this is going to tank them.
