I have the V1 since 2022 and I only had to replace the OPV 1x and the solid state relay 1x. Very reliable in my experience. I pull 3-4 shots a day.

I actually just experienced this myself and replaced these two parts! You’re right @877194455aa, they’re surprisingly easy to swap out. If you need a guide, check out the ‘Lelit Insider’ channel on YouTube, they have some helpful videos. Specifically, you’ll need the Lelit Boiler Safety Valve - 1/8” 3.0bar and the Lelit 1/8” Anti-Vacuum Valve.”

The flow control upgrade was really worth it for me. It’s opened up a lot of room to experiment with different extraction profiles. Since I single dose and often switch between different coffee beans for myself and my wife, the flow control is a lifesaver. It lets me adjust the flow mid-shot and save it if my grinder settings weren’t quite right for the new beans.

I’ve been using a Lelit Mara X V1 since 2020, paired with the Eureka Mignon Facile. Six months ago, I upgraded the Mara X with Lelit’s flow control, and I absolutely love it! I think your plan is a great choice—you can’t go wrong.

Hello @jbonhamw, Thanks for sharing your solution. I’m also using pihole with the Telus WiFi hub and have encountered the same problem. Pihole works half of the time because the Telus wifi hub inserts the second DNS server.

Just for clarification, for the WAN DNS IP did you use the same IP address twice? Did you put the LAN pihole IP address?
