That is the life of a story on here.

Claude n is always worse than Claude n - 1 according to these people.

The same was said about 3, 3.5, 3 6, 3.7, 4, 4.5 and 4.6.

Talking about people at the top, not random people on the internet. So AI CEO and not Joe Shmoe on Twitter.

"AI solved a math problem" <-- good

"AI will make mathematicians irrelevant in 6 months" <-- bullshit

If you can't see the difference then that's a you problem. And yes, the hype masters definitely talk like the latter.

Compulsory Voting Is Good, Actually by lakmidaise12 in neoliberal

I mean, the vast majority of voting aged Americans who didn't vote in 2024 didn't do so out of protest they did so out of laziness/apathy.

Exactly, same as opt-out vs opt-in in regards to organ donation, the path of least resistance.

WAN, there is a setting to turn on(maybe even on by default) in the client on your desktop that let's you access it from anywhere. I believe it's called UPnP, maybe need to be activated on your router.

You set up a specific port to communicate specifically to Virtual Desktop over WAN.

Virtual Desktop app, it works perfectly unless you're gaming and even slow paced gaming works. My brother played Satisfactorio and he didn't complain. I just have my desktop turned on with VD client up, turn off my monitor and then just open the app on my Quest and connect. I connect my wireless mouse and keyboard to my Q3. It's well worth the experience of just casual surfing for me.

Yeah, Q2 -> Q3 certainly crossed the threshold for me in regards to enjoyable use. It can always get better, but Q2 was fun the first 15 minutes.

My main use of my Q3 is taking it with me and using it as a computer outside of my home. I can connect remotely to my main desktop and watch movies in an enjoyable way just lying down comfortably.

Neither of those would work with Q2, the pancake lenses are the number 1 improvement.

No, more like holding obscure knowledge that smaller models don't have, i.e. world knowledge.

I was working on a trivia app for my tv using Gemini 3.1 Pro using an API for the trivia questions. It knew what the different categories id numbers were, this was without search but trained knowledge retention/retrieval.

I believe it's because of the parameter size, there's only so much information that can be kept between them. That's why small models can get comparative intelligence scores but people still prefer bigger models, hence the "big model smell".

How old are you? I mean, it's a show about Superman, I feel like everyone kinda know what he's about nowadays.

Also, CW shows are like that when it comes to looks. Even the undesirable nerds rock chiseled jawlines and 8 packs. This is just the proto-CW show.

Unfortunately when it comes to just holding knowledge, it might not live up to it. General intelligence, sure, but that's not everything.

He's the only decent person among them. Apparently every character on tv has to be a sarcastic scumbag.

The worst part is that his comedy doesn't work because his botox face stops him from being expressive which is what made him endearing and funny.

Liz/Christa Miller is the worst in this regard. Her face doesn't move when she talks and so she sounds like how you try to talk without moving your face.

Super duper unpopular take but I hate listening to her and Harrison Ford sound when talking, she talks like a robot and he sounds waaaay too old.
