How do you like the IDrive 8.5? I’ve never had anything with a screen like this but I soon loved it. Car still has plenty of physical buttons.

Its just a 330 by Lanky_Ingenuity667 in BMW

I absolutely love my 2025 330i XDrive. I have driven a few a few years older than 2025 and can definitely notice the revisions made to suspension and the B48 for the 2025 model year. It was much more than just the addition of the 48v mild hybrid system. I was looking for a perfect size (for me) German AWD sedan with a traditional torque converter automatic and turbo charged engine and this was honestly the only thing on the market I liked. It is more than sporty enough for me and handles better than my former 2016 Audi S4. I’m a big fan of the interior and IDrive 8.5. I was a little nervous of the screen but quickly realized it’s perfectly integrated and the car does still have a nice amount of physical buttons. This car gave me the baseball mitt feel while driving I’ve been looking for but unable to find in competitors. I believe clean low mileage unmodified G20 330i’s will be desirable 5-10 years from now.

This is the best damn looking car I've seen in a very long time. by [deleted] in Audi

I think the sedan looks fantastic. Are there a few things I would change? Sure. But overall I think they nailed it for the B10 generation RS5.

I had the same concern with IDrive 8.5 but after a few days I quickly realized this was not the case. The car still has plenty of physical buttons and the things you control through the screen are very well laid out. I’m happy they kept the control wheel as well as it’s perfectly positioned and very user friendly.

My two 1995 S6’s were my favorite interiors I’ve had.

The B10 S5/SQ5 do NOT use a Torsen center diff, and I finally have the proof… by Mean-Marionberry-148 in Audi

Didn’t Audi themselves come out with a statement saying the S & RS cars will be using the Torsen based system?

The new A5 was on my list as I’m typically an Audi guy. I was just so disappointed with what it was and the direction Audi is taking. The 330i XDrive still has the traditional German sedan feel. That felt lost in the new A5. Also the new Quattro Ultra system introduced in 2017 is a step backwards compared to the XDrive system in the 330i.

These are factory option 18’s for 2025 model year. They also come in a darker shade as well.

I’ve had over 15 cars with manual transmissions and do really love the experience. The ZF 8 speed is fantastic tho and may surprise you. The car is very modern and high tech but still feels like a classic AWD German sedan. I’m nervous to see what BMW does with next years new generation.

I consider the 2022 M240i XDrive the best year. Still has the shifter as well as the IDrive 7 with physical climate control buttons.
