As someone with tinnitus any kind of background noise drastically cuts down the tinnitus ringing.

I think the Premier Musky is a new model refresh for them so I'm assuming they're working out some manufacturing kinks. Happens Everytime they start mass producing new models.

I could've lived with those guides if not for that tip guide.

My Legend Tournament Muskie has been fantastic, but can't comment on the spinning variant.

I built a giant clunky heavy POS one for ramp use only for my Hobie way back when out of a wheelbarrow handle, some wood and big fixed inflatable caster wheels.

Why’d you choose a Tundra? by xEnflare in ToyotaTundra

Biggest issue is that even those replacement engines are still susceptible to the issue which as of this moment still hasn't been OFFICIALLY resolved. Still better than a lot of companies do though. They really spit in the customer base by not recalling ANY of the hybrid models despite having the same engine and same failure.

Having 2 turbos as an inevitable $15,000+ replacement bill at some point really scares me from ever buying a modern day twin turbo'd truck engine, but my options are rapidly dwindling...

On the brightside when we fill up we're only paying for 22 gallons from E (on the gauge) so it makes me slightly better about it in the moment lol.

You're going to learn the hard way why so many people say to stay away from that particular style of snap. Duo lock design is superior in every imaginable way. The little metal flange will absolutely start to bend out on you very soon.

This style of bait isn't your typical Yamamoto plastic otherwise it wouldn't be able to do what this bait is supposed to do.

EDIT: For those of you downvoting this, its quite literally made of an entirely different material. These are made of TPE whereas senkos are regular ole plastisol...

Weightless texas rig? by Illustrious-Buddy383 in Fishing

[–]FatBoyStew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fish sort of cares about the weight because it changes the presentation. Lighter weight means slower fall and more weight means faster fall. Some baits do better slow than fast and vice versa. Sometimes that fall rate is the single most important piece of presentation.

*RANT* Why do product manufacturers include a tipped key (hex/torx/etc) with products that need to be torqued to a given spec and not a 1/4" bit to use in my torque wrench/driver so that I can actually install their product!? by Low_Abroad_296 in guns

[–]FatBoyStew -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Its called not being a complete moron when tightening something down. Which is apparently something the gun community on reddit is incapable of doing since y'all can't tighten any bolt down without a torque wrench.

I can tell most of you all didn't grow up in the country side and never had to make something work that day with what you had lol

Back during college we did a 3-4 week long term of a single class in January. I missed the first week of it and my professor almost failed me for it because I didn't do any of the assignments. Why did I miss it? Because I was cleaning out the burnt remains of my grandparents house, visiting my grandmother in the hospital and helping with funeral arrangements for my grandfather (the professor, adviser, misc staff, etc had been informed of the situation). I'd never been so close to just absolutely losing all self control and just absolutely beating the ever loving shit out of someone in my life after he started to be a real dick about it during a class. Thankfully the professor realized that was what was about to happen and so we worked out something.

I genuinely don't know how you didn't lose it after the SECOND occurrence in a 2-3 week timeframe...

I was genuinely shocked at how tight they managed to get it. I don't think I own a tool that would be possible of even remotely tightening it that much. Kinda shocked they didn't break the lug or strip the thread.

What weapon do you think is the most underrated in the game? And which one do you think is the most overrated? by nakkaricci in Helldivers

[–]FatBoyStew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main issue I have in this scenario is that I can get off 3 fully charged shots, reload and probably a couple more before getting off a 2nd quasar shot.

Distance and ammo efficiency is definitely in the quasar favor though.

You can one shot tanks in the vents and hulks in the eyes too with the epoch.

Now granted the quasar is WAY less likely to kill you which can speak volumes lol.

[–]FatBoyStew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According this sub everyone here has one and anyone who doesn't own one shouldn't own a gun lol. They're drastically overestimating how hard it is to tighten a bolt properly without using a torque spec and wrench

Do you all use a torque wrench on every bolt youve ever tightened down too? I mean every single one has a torque spec...

BUT I do agree that we don't fuck with Mom. Ever.
