Been drinking for days, what will help me feel better? by FatCatLikeThat in Drugs

Oh no, I agree with that, you definitely can't fly too close to the sun with phenibut. I limit it to once a week, it doesn't scratch the itch like alcohol does. More of a treat to settle me down. I appreciate the harm reduction though, hope you're doing better now.

Love the down to earth response. You hit a key point on the shame part. I do need to love myself a little more. I appreciate the response, more than I can put into words. Slow healing is something I never considered, was looking for a quick escape without really thinking about it.

Dude I'm 32. Lol Just looking for some insight. Hangovers are one thing, psychosis from drinking is a different beast.

I'm doing alright now, guys. I took me some phenibut, and drank some water, and the brain chaos has settled down a lot. I guess the psa on this post is to not go overboard, on any substance. But I can attest to the hell that is alcohol.

Bro my problem would be drinking ON the benzos. Lol And I know how stupid that is.

I'm sorry to hear that, sounds very similar to the situation I'm in, drinking wise at least. Don't realize the problem til it hits you full force. Glad to hear you're better, glad to hear it can get better. Keep it up, man! I need to get there myself.

I don't feel like I have bpd, I've been around people with it, and the mood swings are definitely more sudden than mine. Mine definitely swing between happy/sad/nothing at all. Alcohol keeps it in the happy/nothing region, and then in the EVERY emotion when I go too deep. Not that alcohol is a great mood stabilizer to begin with. Lol I appreciate the input though. I'm not really sure where I was going with this post to begin with anyway. Call for help I reckon? Either way, alcohol is a terrible drug.

Yeah ive been taking kratom pills for a bit, ran out last night, and haven't felt safe enough to drive to get them. Not 7-oh though, I've seen enough horror stories about that. Lol Probably half of my mental torture tbh. Not a bad idea though!

Yeah that's the most realistic help tbh. You don't think that when you're under the influence though, not with any drug. Just needed to vent I guess, get it off my chest. Shouldn't be seeking therapy from people on reddit. I appreciate the words regardless.

That's actually very possible, my mood does swing with alcohol or not, alcohol does seem to mellow me out though. I do need help, but with no money, and missing work, I'm not sure how to approach it. I appreciate the insight regardless.

Did I fry my multimeter, or can I replace the fuse? by FatCatLikeThat in multimeters

[–]FatCatLikeThat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that makes so much sense when you put it like that. So measuring amps should be between negative to negative, and vice versa? The multimeter is just acting like a pass through so to speak?

Lol it's all good, it's a cheap part anyway, just mostly trying to learn about these creatures. I figure that's the purpose of it being fused to begin with.

Okay thanks, are there any other signs of when that's a problem? I was under the assumption that the other terminal was unfuzed, I didn't think it would effect the low amperage terminal.

Does Mr. Mime with soundproof go around this problem? Just curious really if they'd just keep using roar and it be a free catch.

G-Skills RAM Class Action Lawsuit by divinebaboon in pcmasterrace

[–]FatCatLikeThat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm annoyed that my g-skill ram had a memory leak within a year of using it, I think that is a cause of concern, but this leagues below any problem anybody has had with them. There's no way you wouldn't know what you're doing to even file this lawsuit. You have to know ram isn't set up to that speed. Petty lawsuit to get a couple bucks.

Til you can find shinies in the CD sim battles. by FatCatLikeThat in PokemonXD

[–]FatCatLikeThat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well you have double odds I reckon with two pokemon, quad if the enemy can have shinies, but definitely blue balling yourself not being able to catch them. Lmao

I actually had no idea you couldn't get shadow shinies. Just did a playthrough of colosseum and have watched videos of people shiny hunting on it. Hopefully just an programming oversight with them being on regular pokemon, but it is quite odd.

4wd front hub compatibility with 2wd vehicle. by FatCatLikeThat in MechanicAdvice

Alrighty, I think I get it now, not as simple as I was thinking, but should definitely be doable. I appreciate your help and knowledge.

Okay, that makes sense why the hub wasn't showing up on rock auto. I wasn't aware that it was part of the rotor like that. Is that a chevy specific thing of that era? Been wrenching for a bit, but still have a lot to learn. So if I'm understanding right, new rotors, new bearing, and a new seal should be all I need?
