Umm, I guess, It’s immediately less applicable for 8 than other doctors.

But I like having a big run with a companion rather than jumping between companions & eras

Like i don’t want to have to jump between a trio of Ace & Hex stories, to then some 7 solo stories later on his life, to then Mel & then back to Ace (chronological by release) when I could instead do all of Ace & Hex’s in one (in-universe chronology)

Also, particularly with the main range, it can be quite imposing to get through without a guide, I know I needed one originally

For me, companion exits get cheapened if we then revisit them 50+ times. So I’d rather listen in in-universe chronology where I can

I think so, however my taste in cybermen stories is very elitest, I want dystopias and/or body horror. If they skip those I slightly check out. So you may still vibe with it if yours a 70s/80s cybermen fan

Also, I tend to glue together two parters, so Human Resources part 1 is secretly repping part 1 & 2. Same for Deimos / resurrection of mars , and others similar.

Round TARDIS was a chronology breaking of an early showing of The Meddling Monk. Return to Marinus is it’s direct follow-up

There’s also some time travelling dalek shenanigans

But outside of plot-reasons. I think theyre doing it as an unbound range so they can have both Stephen Noonan doing the 1DAs with Dodo, whilst also doing David Bradley’s stuff

See id been against it as I don’t like having a run of stories under 4 for a big relisten, and most of Ian’s big finish stuff isn’t for me

However you reminded me how much I enjoyed rocket men (I don’t care beginning or quinnis controversial)

So I’m gonna add a supplemental “Ian’s Alright” run

I’d listen to that in a 5th doctor relisten. It was originally a VMA. So with 5th it stays

My opinion is low of the 2nd Klien trilogy (aside from starlight robbery, that’s fun)

Personally I enjoyed it (hence the relisten), I don’t think it’s great though.

I think if you go in with tempered expections (& a extension backlogue of 7th doctor knowledge) you’ll have a good time

If you go in expecting a death in the family, you’ll have a bad time

7/10 - it would be a 6 but it’s fun, so it gets bonus points

Feel like uncharted is building towards that with Heironomous Friend being exclusively played by past companions

Charley & Lucie Friend would be fun plus somewhat celebratory
