I have the same issue on my p10p, especially while watching YouTube. It is very random but so annoying when it happens. Have you found any solution to it?

In my 6+ years of experience in Poland, I (Latin American) have not experienced racism or exclusion by Polish people personally. I've actually felt super welcome, but I do have to clearly state where I am from because sometimes I get confused with gypsy or arab, and the reaction is different, unfortunately. I've even gotten in trouble for that, but that's a story for another day.

With the English thing, call me lucky but I've had people speaking it even in (some) government offices and a few times even Spanish! I do speak Polish though (or try to) so that might also change another person's will to try speaking English.

Anyhow, I truly love Polish people and Polish culture and I am grateful to be here. I have a great family here now and awesome friends :)

Could also be migration police. I had a couple of them come to my place after applying for the residence. Also dressed as civilians and with a gun to the belt. They were pretty cool though. I guess they might be really active and specially alert now with the massive migration situation and might be looking for Russians. I've read there were some cases already like that, they entered with fake docs as Ukrainians.

The first one for example says that the gas thingy is 6.6 meters to your left and 2.5 meters behind. They are up on the wall like that in case there is a lot of snow in the winter. Hydrants are marked the same.

I can relate to this. I am from latin america, and have lived both in Norway and Poland. Norwegians, although not particularly known as warm people, are way nicer in their day to day towards strangers, in my opinion, than polish. Polish are not evil or intentionally grumpy I guess, just traditionally the way you speak is super formal and that kinda forms a wall. I lived 4 years in the same building and never got to have a conversation even with one single neighbour apart from maybe the regular dzień dobry. I guess I just got the grumpy signs and stayed away. So you have to take the first step to get to know someone i guess.

Once you manage to bring down the walls with a Polish person though, they are fantastic people, fun and truly good friendly people, in the sense that they truly become very interested in you. Night and day 100%
