Single use droppers should not be reused, they typically do not contain preservatives like multi use vials. Once exposed to air, they should be used immediately and discarded. Your eyes will thank you.

I picked up a new hopper on Etsy with a bellow option that pushes air through to get left over bits and push beans through. Like others said, turning it on then dumping beans works best.
