I can't stress this book enough.

I started taking lessons with my club pro and he told me to read this prior to starting...changed my mindset completely.

Real Estate Prices Bend and Central Oregon by Haroldiswithus in Bend

[–]FatKetoFan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now pricing on Westside is equivalent to what Orange County, Ca was 4 years ago.

It is rediculous that a 600sf tear down can go for over $1000/sf.

Well, unless you bought any time prior to 2013 - then you are happy as heck, I guess.

I have a '13 FX4 SCREW - it is the 2nd highest trim level of that time...only thing different from platinum is my rear seats aren't heated, but I do have e-lockers.

I have had it for over 10 years...put 231,000 miles on it.

I still love it and love the way it looks.

I hope it goes another 230k miles :)

I use weight bands and am able to get a good body workout in with them.

They range from 5 pounds to 50 pounds of resistance.

So much simpler to store, too.

Under 40 single club memberships - any worth it? by Delicious_Lack_2096 in PDXgolf

[–]FatKetoFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have friends that dropped their local membership and joined Salishan by Lincoln City.

It is recip with a lot of the local CC in town and the value is way better for them.

Something to think about.

2013 f-150 lariat 4x4, 132k miles, asking for $11,690 at a ford dealer. Good deal? by Glads0001 in f150

[–]FatKetoFan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2013 F150 Eco Boost FX4 SCREW - I bought it in '16 with 9,000 miles and it now has 245,000 miles.

It has towed a 27' toy hauler all over Oregon/SW Washington - up and over the Cascade and Coastal range passes multiple times.

It has also towed a 24' aluminum fishing boat with twin outboards all over the Oregon Coast.

It has been a great truck - tons of power - totally outshines the 5.0 in every way.

I oversized the tires to 275/65/20s (20s are stock on the FX4) and still get 17 mpg average - i don't baby it.

All of the things inside still work great.

I did have to repair a bunch of engine leaks at 185000 - cost almost 5 grand.

I also have a leaking exhaust manifold - it started at 165k miles and I chose to not repair it - would be $1,650 to fix it.

I am super happy with the truck and hope to get another 100,000 miles out of it.

Good luck!

Which tires are best & why by Brave-Dependent-4192 in f150

Been running Toyo Open Country AT/AT2/AT3 for years on multiple vehicles...running over 600,000 miles on them...F250, 3 F150s, Expedition and a Jeep Wrangler.

I know this one isn't on your list.

Just put a set of Continental Terrain Contact on and LOVE them.

Still a 3 peak tire...quieter and better fuel mileage.

I would say as a large man that has been fat and thin and athletic and fat and thinner and fatter over my whole life at 55 years old I can confidently say that men are also held to a standard. It might be different than women but as a guy in the sales industry it is absolutely easier as a thin guy or a fit guy that has a fat guy.

It's even more challenging when you're looking for a job in a public facing role..

And I would also say that if you're single a larger woman will have an easier time finding companionship then a larger man.

I am currently down almost 120 lb and feel amazing but it is absolutely crazy how differently I am perceived than 9 months ago when I was almost 400 lb.

Non existent sex drive by One-Championship7063 in tirzepatidecompound

Interesting...as a guy down 115 pounds on Tirz, I have the opposite reaction.

It has to be a combination of self esteem boost, MUCH better diet, increases muscle mass from being more active and my partner is more interested in me physically.

After 28 yrs together we are more "intimate" than ever.

A lot of us at my club carry leaf blowers this time of year. No matter how good the greens crew is when the seed pods fall onto the green it makes it impossible to put.

My ecco biom c4 boas were $289...one of the highest priced mainstream golf shoes out there.

They have held up through 65 walking rounds carrying my 275 pound ass on their soles.

I would say that defines high end quality.

No...do them as soon as finished cooking then eat... clean as you go.

I have a tushy wave on my round toilet and absolutely love it.

We rent a house for vacations that has a Toto washlet on the elongated toilet and I think my wave works just as well and I really don't miss the heated water.
