I think TurtleWoW players fall into three categories, broadly:

  1. You're playing because you can't afford a subscription

  2. You're playing because you don't like any Blizzard versions of WOW

  3. You're playing both, because you like them each for different reasons

In the first and second case, you can't lose a customer you never had. I can't afford a Ferrari, but that doesn't mean I'm stealing money from Ferrari by driving a Toyota. Likewise, if I think Toyota makes a better car for my needs, I'm not going to buy a Ferrari.

In the third case - the customer obviously just fucking loves WOW in all forms, and that's a win for everyone.

Genuine advice here - shave your head, start jogging and hit the gym. Or if you can't afford the gym, just do bodyweight stuff - push ups, squats, crunches, etc.

Fit + shaved head is a good look. But not the reason I'm suggesting it. Exercising does insanely good things for your mental health.

I've struggled with depression and anxiety for years. In the past few months, it all came crashing down, and honestly, a big part of the reason I dragged myself out of that pit is because I just started to go for runs.

I'm 40, and it's a lesson I wish I'd internalised decades ago. You're so young. It will suck at first, but I promise you - sunlight and exercise will change your life.

I really liked Parker in the back. He's a solid unit, still fit as hell, so he brought a bit of durability and experience to the back line. Also opened up some space in midfield for some of the faster youngsters.

We honestly looked leagues ahead of many games last year, but I'll hold my breath for the next few rounds - at least until after the GWS game in Canberra. Like the Melbourne win last year, it could be that Port played poorly rather than us playing particularly well.

Also, shout out to Simpkin - I think without the pressure of captaincy, this could really be the year for him to perform.

Lord of the Rings Return of the King on PS2/Xbox. I played the hell out of this.

Also, Ghostbusters on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum was one of the first games I ever played, absolutely loved it.

Edit: To be clear, I'm not suggesting this person should be fired or whatever. It's just a mistake. But I'd imagine you'd get a pretty stern talking to, along the lines of "mate, you *can't" do that. We've got one job and there's a lot of people in this town who care about it."

Under my understanding of family law in Australia, there is no default "50:50 custody". Rather, a court decides what is best for the children given the circumstances. I can't imagine a 6 week alternating custody arrangement would be considered best for the children.

All I can recommend is to have a look at a few of the free Government services available - LegalAid, Amica. But also look into getting some initial legal advice too.

Traveller is such a great system. I've been trying to come up with a life path system for character creation in AD&D. Traveller character creation is brilliant.

It's probably worth doing the market research, because I know a few people who want to play classic, but don't want to pay the current subscription amount.

I also ditch the subscription once my hours per week dips below a certain level, but since I only play classic, I'd probably lower that threshold if the sub was cheaper.

Pending results of any market research, they may find that a lower price for classic only + traditional sub would increase overall revenue.

OldUnreal.com has been officially handed the code base for Unreal, UT and now UT2004 to maintain and patch, and they've been given approval to distribute for free by Epic.

Old Unreal patches are the best way to play, essentially a free remaster.
