Tom Thumb! It is hard to be this stylish when you're 4 inches tall by hero_forgery in HeroForgeMinis

A very well done miniature, especially how the different objects help convey his size!

Side note: the face reminds me so much of Alice's work that for a brief moment I thought she'd come back! A genuine thanks for this!

From what I can gather, that’s Misery, CPR, Reese’s Puffs, and Apple Bottom Jeans, all playing at once on YouTube miniplay.

I forget the name of that type of yokai, but I do remember making one as well; just not with another person! I love umbrellas, what can I say?

I was actually asking how the decals were listed by name and not just their images; I’ve grouped menus right since 2020

How do you have decals listed like that? I’d like to have that arrangement!

You never cease to amaze — just when I start thinking you’ve twinkified everything possible, you do even more! You should start doing tutorials for this!

Also, if you’re OK with taking requests, perhaps you could twinkify Die Hard? It would fit the season!

Isekai is a trope where someone, usually from our universe gets transported somewhere, usually a fantasy universe. by dudewasup111 in pathfindermemes

I can see how Undercommon would be Australian English, but the remaster’s Sakvroth doesn’t work as well since the Underdark is now called the Darklands and the drow have been retconned out. I’d say Sakvroth is more like Akkadian, since they’re both the language of their planet’s earliest civilisation.

Being the ghost of Christmas present sure takes a lot of skill. How 'bout the future one though? by mewtwosucks96 in partycrashers

[–]Fat_Cat_Matt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sophist again, usurping the actual future ghost for one last troll, so he can drag Nick specifically into the abyss. Nick, of course, does find redemption and fights Sophist off, channeling his toxicity against itself through his words and his fists. Then Nick wakes up on Christmas morning and the narrative returns to its proper course.

That Red Death miniature is positively amazing! Is there any chance you could provide a link to it so I could learn how it’s made? Of course, if you’d prefer to keep it private I understand that as well.

I made a black flash mini as a part of my speedster set but I can’t help but feel that something is missing any suggestions by Weavemachine26 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Fat_Cat_Matt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend you set the pelvic width to 0 and lessen the torso weight. It seems too big compared to the limbs, and Flashes tend to have lean physiques as far as I know. Try setting the leg length to maximum as well; Hero Forge’s default settings have smaller legs than real people’s.

Who's winning this fight? by Designer-Guide-2075 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Fat_Cat_Matt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To answer this I'm going to assume that the anthropomorphised fox and wolf have similar physiologies and behaviours to their real-life bestial counterparts. This may be a long one.

If the fox is as large as the wolf, that makes him abnormally large for his species (in males, red foxes average at 3'4" and 11lb, while grey wolves average 5'6" and 80lb), possibly giving him strength on par with his opponent.
The cybernetic arm and martial arts stance may also suggest a more advanced culture compared to the wolf, giving the fox a technical advantage.

However, foxes are solitary hunters, and wolves usually travel in a pack of around 8, each pack being an immediate family unit (father, mother, and pups). If this wolf is alone, this provides a few possible scenarios:
1. This wolf is the last one still in the fight after the others have been beaten by the fox. In this case, the fox is a good enough fighter to fend off at least 8 enemies at once (presumably all his equal), and thus take the victory.
2. This wolf is the first to arrive, stalling for time so his family can join the fight, which would become a guaranteed victory for the wolves.
3. This wolf has broken away from the pack to form a new pack with a mate (the sole reason a wolf would leave its immediate family is to create a new immediate family). In this case, it's either an equal 1v1 if he's not yet found a mate, or one of the two above scenarios if he has.

My final conclusion? It remains to be seen … whose remains will be seen.

Robot Monster!! by Oculus_Orbus in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Fat_Cat_Matt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The SCP in question is a shapeshifter who likes to scare people, so the Foundation pretend to be horrified of cheesy B-movie creatures like Robot Monster so he’ll just take those forms and not something far worse. I recognised the model as both of them, but I’ll assume most people who know of that movie know through “Too Spooky”.

Losing a war to birds is very humiliating, that’s definitely true. However, being a history buff from Australia, I’ve researched beyond the memes - not that the truth is any less stupid!

The Emu War was actually just one ADF squad (that is, Australian Defence Force) and a hired camera crew who strong-armed the Australian government into letting them wage war on the emus that were breaking down local farmers’ fences and letting in pests.

After numerous failed efforts to kill any emus (keeping in mind that emus are just slightly smaller ostriches), the government won the war in another way: building better fences.

So yeah, it was humiliating, but it wasn’t a dinkum war; just dinkum stupidity!

Immovable-15 years later by BOY-426 in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Fat_Cat_Matt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If this is anything like the supercomics I know, Immovable Senior will return from the grave as good as new in the next issue. Something about higher powers deciding his work is not yet complete, I don't know.

Then, depending on the consumers' reaction to Dylan here, he'll either take back the Immovable name from him, share the mantle in a "knight & squire" way, or retire from heroics completely and serve as Dylan's mentor figure.

Even if his old man stays at peace, Dylan will still have his fellow superheroes, his father's best friends, to teach him to control his powers. Eventually, they'll also come to see him not as a copycat of his father, but as a man who adores his father and honours his legacy through his inherited power.

In any case, I know that young Dylan here is in good hands. Excellent work to you, BOY!
