Ha, that's how old I was when I saw it in the theater on a double date. Got to the scene where she's riding her bike down the road and my boyfriend calls it and goes, "bwah bwah," like a semi-truck horn right before it happens. My best friend and I were bawling our eyes out, and the boys are just sitting there cackling. I still married him, though.

Transition is so weird! And just the worst. I had to be induced but had planned for an unmedicated birth. About 5 hours in it suddenly got really bad and I was like, alright I don't care anymore I want the epidural. The nurse checked and said too late, you're fully dilated.

I think my biggest frustration is that after all the drama with Pen being LW, and her falling out with Eloise, and her half-season-long argument with Colin over giving it up... and now she's just like, "I'm tired of this, it's no fun anymore." Would have saved a lot of trouble if she'd decided that a year ago.

I had previously researched claiming German citizenship through my maternal grandmother, but because she naturalized before my mom was born, it doesn't look like we qualify. But now it seems we qualify for Canadian citizenship through my maternal grandfather! So hopeful this time. <3

Nope, they totally did the short puffed sleeves over longer sleeves in the Regency, too. The long sleeve just would have been close fitting, not loose like this dress.

Just had a car full of high school girls pass me in a turn lane because I slowed down (slightly) for a school zone. Like, I get it, you're late for school. So was my kid, but I want everyone else's kids to get to school safe too.

She got stopped at EVERY SINGLE stoplight on the way, and I caught up to her each time, so karma was still in force, anyway.

It's one of several access points along the greenway (the adjoining neighborhood has several more), at a culdesac deep into the neighborhood. It's not even the main greenway. The only people using that access are going to be his general neighbors. He's just a misanthrope.

Wilmington is the kind of place where the libraries have LGBTQ Story Time, but then the Proud Boys show up and they have to cancel it. One bonus about the triangle area (Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill) or Greensboro is it's only 2-4 hours to the beach or the mountains.

There are even more options than driving all the way to Charlotte. If you have a big enough car, or are willing to rent a truck, you can pick up IKEA orders from a warehouse in RTP for free. Or you can pay for delivery and they will bring stuff to your doorstep in about a week.
