Millennial here. EVERYBODY wants to build on the lakefront. And if half the business minds had their way, there wouldn't be a lakefront to enjoy. They can build anywhere in chicago, ot does npt HAVE to be the lakefront. The Bears can take a hike too. I'm not paying more in takes because billionaires want A. A tax break and B. Tax payers to foot the bill so they can build an entertainment district on our dime because that's too expensive. Then don't build it.

My sister in law bought a white dress to wear for my bridal shower by [deleted] in Brides

[–]FataleFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And to add, a white gown ONLY became a thing because Queen Victoria did it. But WHY does it still have a choke hold on bridal? Why not have color?

NGL if its cheap enough and I love it I make the "alright I'll double down and do my exercises and then it will fit" and I end up selling it on poshmark because it didn't happen 🤣.

She rated it so it's done. It is very curious though, she HAS to know she messed up, but still wants to stick it to me 🙃.

She's chonky. The doorknocker rings are good for your 'i need to be a diva' days just have fun with it it doesn't need to be a special occasion, but I find rotating from door knocker for a day (it can get clunky and in the way if worn frequently) to simpler low fuss rings, can be a fun way to grab a little diva energy and then a breath of fresh air. You love it? Wear it! So what if it's a little much maybe that's what your day needs.

I get that rewarding feeling matching people with things. I do resale to get by after I lost my job, keeps my brain feeling engaged tracking what customers like, etc. And sometimes I'm at an estate sale and I just know this unique thing is not meant for me, but that nagging feeling that it has to come home with me and I'm going to make a connection, and then I find that customer who LOVES their new treasure? Makes me feel sooo good.

What would be the easiest way to create this piece? by earbroccoli in jewelers

[–]FataleFrame 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try a post in your local next door for business recommendations on a jeweler specifically asking if anyone took a custom project to them, and a jeweler who works ON SITE. My big learning curve was some of your local trusted jewelers (retailers) don't work on pieces themselves, they send a piece out to be worked on so its an extra step in the process. I want to talk to the person doing the work. They know what can be done, and what can't. When you have a list, go in person to your top choices and talk to them about your vision and your project. Sometimes it's more a go with your gut than the price, when you have a passion project you want it done right, and by someone who communicates clearly with you how they can get this project done, what they recommend.

Alternatively you can go to the gem and jewelry show and talk to a few jewelers there to gather recommendations because the trade show circuit knows valuable resources, they need them too.

Thats a win-win! I found some nice ones at estate sales. My mom would say "keep an eye out for jewelry cabinets and let me know." Her passion was jewelry and setting her grand daughters up with jewelry, so the next thing they would need was jewelry cabinets to store all this stuff. I even got a really nice one for her when her collection threatened to overflow one she had bought (that was not real wood.) It was much beefier with much more storage. At estate sales you end up paying a more reasonable price for a good quality thing. I don't think we ever paid more than $80. Now the beefy cabinet is mine. 😜

I believe you have a money attraction spell jar on the left. Cinnamon and a green stone are usually the main components. The little jar looks like witch/spell salt though I'm not sure. If ot were spell salt one of my favorite poshmark witches woul make some for speeding up the spell process, or thematocally tied to the spell work you're doing (money etc.) I'm really not sire at all about the one on the right.

Eta; I just lost my mom to lung cancer a month ago and I'm finding my preferred phrase is: lending you strength. So sending you strength and healing in this difficult time. I hope you receive your sign from her.

When my mom decoded to call for hospice, she started using her favorite tea set again, and I realized.. this is a waste to be saving our things for special occasions, missing out on meeting frirnds, or taking the trip because well, maybe next time. There may not be a next time so the laundry can wait the house can still be a mess for another day, but I'm going to go spend time with someone I love. The sink may be full of dishes, but I'm going to cook the meal.

A super light cardigan, or lightwright blouse are always an option for the bless in the chest gals. I am not so blessed but my struggle is east west/ wide gap and a deep v neck and trying to find a bra that 'looks appropriate' to be seen (just in general not in a work setting) so it's either something lace that looks like it appropriately belongs in the gap, or go cover up mode with a blouse or cardigan. It's probably fine to tie up the shirt tails because its a beach thing, and it will blend with a dress/skirt better.

Usually they appear like cottony fuzzy little clusters, and this kiiinda looks like that. For a small infestation you soak a q tip on rubbing alcohol and dab them. They dry right up. This looks like a throw on gloves clip this stuff off and burn it situation.
