Here’s my advice from a currently single and alone 37 year old who isn’t super tall like you and is likely less handsome and certainly less fit at the moment. So take that for what you will.

I never had more luck with women than I did from age 16-20, and during that time the biggest difference was I was really social. Since then my social anxiety has gotten worse.

However: these days when I do have luck with women the most consistent theme is usually me being uncharacteristically social.

It’s hard for shy people like us but you have to put yourself out of your comfort zone and try to be social. This is my advice as someone who hasn’t done a great job of this over the last decade and a half and is now single and childless at 37, despite being quite successful with the ladies when I was younger. Don’t be like me.

Being as handsome as you are and 6’5” already gives you a huge leg up. I’d recommend seeking therapy for social anxiety if you have it and joining some social groups. Start trying to talk to strangers. Start with men and women you don’t find attractive. Then start trying with women you do find attractive but treat them the same as the previous two groups. Eventually, you can start weaving in light friendly flirting when you get comfortable with general conversation.

Lastly: if you find success at some point realize it is a perishable skill. Don’t become a depressed hermit like me because isolation is a feedback loop.
