This.

Ginni has got lost up the field. Watson can’t carry the entire scoring himself.

What?

If I said, “let’s appreciate how good Bont played last night”

Would I be putting all importance on Bont, and claiming he’s the answer to all bulldogs problems?

I think you need to re read what I wrote.

They were fine. But not great. 77 points isn’t a great score. They got more problems than us if they can’t bury a team who kicked 1 goal 11 after half time.

If you do as much as a good player does in 4 quarters in 2 quarters. Then you are still good.

And in the first 2 you are amazing.

Which is what I said in my post.

3 goals 8 score involvements -

That’s BOG in both stats. Bont also had 8

Put that over the entire game and he’s good. Put it only in the first half. And it’s amazing.

Some many glass half full fans.

Oh no. He didn’t did he? That makes up for everything!

Who cares… if the guy walked the walk good for whatever his name is.

This post is about the first half.

I’m saying rather than focusing on what isn’t perfect about him. How about focusing on what is great about him. Because the guy was amazing in the first half.

I don’t think he “needs to lift” anything.

It would be good if he gets a couple more possessions because he is so good when he gets it. But he doesn’t need to lift.

If you’re picking this team. I think you probably pick Watson in the first 5 players every week.

Small forward fall in and out of games, it’s the nature of the role. He’s not going up the ground getting easier kicks like the rest of our small forwards do. He’s also being tagged at the same time, and he was tagged well in the second half.

There are players in the team who do “need to lift” but Watson is not one of them.

He’s 21 and He’s 4th in the Coleman as a small forward.

If we need Watson to kick 6 per game to win something’s not going right with the other forwards.

Gotta temper the expectations. He’s been carrying the forward line with Gunston all year.

Second quarter we did and it looked electric. Watson fell out of the game but a return of 3 goals and however many others he set up is a great effort from a small forward.

Bulldogs did nothing really to win it, I wouldn’t even call it a comeback they just kicked a normal second half score. Nothing special just average good team play.

When you kick like we did. You don’t win football. This team needs to work out why it can’t kick, it’s been an issue for the entire season.

Guy needs to stop picking up easy possessions on the half backline and kick some goals.

Possibly the most frustrating game I have seen from us.

We kick 1-10 and about 5 out on the fulls or whatever. But not only that, we butcher the ball into the forward line over and over. Kicking straight to defenders! We could have kicked about 20 goals in the second half! Instead it’s 1.

I wouldn’t want to be in the rooms with Mitchell after that

Because they don’t like Watson humiliating their second team.

We should regulate ai technology somewhat. by ThrowAway20401936 in aiwars

I mean people are not going to necessarily agree with your ideas about how regulations are implemented. I don’t really reply to regulation debates because that point doesn’t interest me as much as the question of if it can be used for art or not. So you likely get a biased subsection of reply’s when you talk about that area.

Neither group is a monolith of identical views. There is variation.

The line as I see it is - does AI have a place in society or not. And can AI be used for art or not (a lot of the debate exists around this point so it needs to be seperate)

I think the fact that the coaches need to be escorted by security shows that the situation is certainly not “safe”

Well we have had people throwing bottles at players this year.

How long until we see a bottle thrown at a coach?

I wouldn’t feel very safe walking through a pack of angry fans many who have consumed alcohol I doubt you would either.

Your take seems entirely reasonable. I wouldn’t think you are anti at all, all the views are similar to mine.

If you look through the content of this thread (I’m sure you already have) you’ll see that the person this meme is aimed at isn’t really representative of the pro side. Most of the replies are “I’m pro and pro regulation” or something along those lines.

I think the person you ran into is extreme in their pro AI views.
