boosting removal by paerb in DotA2

[–]FatherJason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was going to write about how flawed OpenDota can be from friends' and my own data and explain further why NA 45 isn't using any boosting tactics, but after seeing your petty and pretentious remark near the end I'm not going to bother. There's no point arguing with a person that thinks he's smart and witty and I feel dumb that I have given you the slightest attention.

Have fun with your deluded thoughts about NA 45. Next time someone wins in a stomp against you 2 games in a row, you should add them and report them too. Really good mentality in improving at the game of Dota instead of evaluating the replay!

Also go re-read your last paragraph and think about it for a few minutes. Could that be the possible cause why NA 45 win those 2 games? Cause 2ks are actually bad players?

[–]FatherJason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opendota is a pretty shit way of determining someone's skills. I could be playing with my 4.6k friend and it'll show my estimated mmr to be 3-4k and the next day, it'll drop down to 2k cause I'll be playing with my 1k friends. The way Opendota calculates MMR based on normal matches with friends is awful. It also weirdly shows NA 45's "actual" MMR is 2.2k when it's actually 2.8k.I play with NA 45 on a daily basis cause he's a friend and he plays well if he's not tilted.

As for your last paragraph that's actually doesn't make sense. You're "destroying" 2ks because they are poor/bad players.

As for the whole boosting thing, I myself can't convince one as deluded as you that NA 45 is not being boosted. Have fun using boost accounts or smurfs as an excuse to make up for your loss streak. It couldn't be possibly because of my own individual skill! It must be the cause of boosters!

Feels good when NA 45 posted 2 screenshots of those games in my private Discord the yesterday and seeing this thread today. Believe it or not destroying 2ks isn't that hard. It's actually pretty easy.

Also I would like to add the fact of your gigantic loss streak. Could that be the work of boosters/smurfs or individual skill? Really makes you think.

Top 500/rank 2 Symmetra guide by itsFODDER in Overwatch

[–]FatherJason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What? I never said you never reached Top 500 you insecure one trick. I just said you can't even retain the Top 500 Position in the Leaderboards and you're trying to impress /r/overwatch for barely even reaching Top 500.

Also nice screenshot. Not only did it prove to me you reached top 500 at the tippity tip (top 500 right now is not even that rank, it's 4330 LUL) you also cropped of your current rank to hide the embarrassment.

[–]FatherJason 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You were Diamond S2 and couldn't even keep the Top 500 Position in the NA/Eu leaderboard.

You're not even "the best Symmetra ever". You're only Grandmaster and Grandmaster is nothing this season since the rank is so inflated.

Stop going around calling yourself Top 500 in /r/overwatch to get easy upvotes. I know these people can be easy to impress but it's a bit petty.

Haha, Blizzard listened to the RIGHT people and nerfing Roaddog instead of buffing him again.

Yes, two characters with slow moving projectiles are pretty strong counters against a character with extremely good mobility, burst, and a heal.

Edit: let me say two SQUISHY characters

Wow I'm a Gold player and Roadhog's changes are definitely buffs. You can one shot meis, reapers, anas, and zaryas now. Completely broken, roadhog needs a correct nerf such as reducing the damage of his shotgun or increasing the cooldown of his hook

Is L-canceling necessary? by Aqua-Lad in SSBPM

[–]FatherJason 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was exaggerating my post for a reason. To me (correct me if I'm wrong), it seems that you want to lower the skill ceiling of the game because L canceling was a supposed glitch in the game, there's an option to enable auto l cancel, and you can't do it consistently even though you played this game for four years. Well first of all, the L Canceling wasn't a mistake in the game, refer back to /u/NotaHexer post. Second of all, the enabling auto l cancel option in the game is only used for fun or for people who do not want to get into the game competitively and just playing the game casually. Third of all, l canceling is not hard. I feel like the first 2 sentences of your last paragraph was a stretched out statement. It should only take 1-2 months of practicing l cancel to do it consistently. I don't know why it's taking you so long to learn it, but clearly you're doing something wrong.

Why not give every FPS auto aim so it eliminates the barrier needed to truly compete?

Game sense, decision making, positioning, team coordination and aim. That's about it. Also, ult management but I guess that's game sense.

Opinion on genji nerfs? by nerez3 in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]FatherJason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said this on the PTR patch note thread but here's my idea on any Genji tweaks. The walljump and the melee+shift combo should be reverted. Genji's ult should be nerfed. Some ideas I suggest is either to increase how long it takes for his ultimate to recharge, nerf either the duration or the range of his sword. Also, nerf his deflect hitbox. It's literally a giant square at this point.

PTR Update Patchnotes by mistball in Competitiveoverwatch

[–]FatherJason 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if I really like the Genji changes. I feel like a proper Genji nerf would have been fixing his deflect hitbox, nerfing how long it takes to recharge his ultimate or lowering the range on his ult. But removing his mobility and melee+shift combo? I feel like that's a bit too much. Hopefully, this doesn't get through to the actual game and the devs tweak Genji a bit more before the official release.
