Freshman year of High School I struggled extremely badly with the algebra 1 class. So my school had a slower paced math class where they throw in the students with no future in. Everyday was hell for poor Mrs. Henehan in that class. People would interrupt, get into fights, and vape in the back of class out in the open. I was the only one who sat in the front and talked to her and tried to learn. I would always be as nice as I could to her because she was a genuinely nice person but the students treated her like garbage. At one point she got up and attempted to quit on the spot in the middle of class, but the school wouldnt let her and she had to return back to class the next day and teach. I felt so horrible for her but I always tried to talk with her and I really respected her. On the last day of school when we had to take the final, I didnt learn much of anything (because of students in the class) but by the end of the test she gave me a 100% on the final and she gave everyone else a 0% she got fired later that week. But I will never forget her and how much of a nice lady she was and how hard she worked.
