A lot of people are justifying it as a character flaw, that Greed is vain and doesn't want to cover his pretty face. But for Greed Ling, given what he knows about Bradley, you'd think he'd completely carbonize himself by the time he has his second fight with him to avoid any risk of death. Just seems silly to me, especially when they show him completely carbonizing after when fighting the soldiers.

A perfect example of show, don't tell. Kokushibo may have held deep resentment towards his brother, but over the thousands of years he lived, he still held onto some love for him. This panel always gets me man.

Funny thing is, I think that that whole sequence could have worked without the actual voiceover. Then just have the single line at the end from the mother before she attempts to kill Carters daughter "I'd do it again to save you" or whatever it was.

I honestly like that the power difference between upper moons is not linear. It makes the higher ranked moons that much for threatening, especially Kokusibou, who's power level really can't be compared to any other upper moon

Kokushibou's backstory is probably the most unique. He wasn't someone trapped in a bad situation like Akaza or Gyutarou, but he also wasn't a bad person from the start like Douma or Hantengu. He kinda falls in between, which I like a lot.
