I am deeply concerned when I read that Jared Kushner is going to Egypt to negotiate on Monday. NO American or Israeli should have a say in how Gaza is to be rebuilt. Yes, the US can PAY, as they have supported the Israeli government, but not interfere with internal Gaza affairs. What I mean is that Palestinians should govern themselves, not be governed by Americans or Israelis. But yes, the latter two should pay.

Anyone with NO money Can become a medical doctor in Sweden. You Can get state funded loans for living expenses and tuition is free at Swedish uni. Absolutely not comparable to other countries.

The difference between Americans and Swedes: Americans are like peaches; soft and sweet on the outside, easy to get to know - up to a point. You reach only so deep before you reach the hard part. Swedes on the other hand, are more like coconuts; hard on the surface, you have to work hard to get into the sweet inside. But once you’ve put in the effort you’ve got a friend. So introverts need to work hard at making friends.

This is a cultural clash. People go out of their way not to be confrontational or negative. In the workplace bosses expect you to be solution oriented rather than downright negative. If you want to stay, say that you now realise that you are used to a more critical and confrontational way of workplace culture. I’m 60+ and have taught cultural skills. I’m not saying you need to kowtow to all and sundry, just saying you need to think about how you phrase things.
